B.Sc. in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2025

Overall, this college is not worth the money.
Placements: There are no placements for our courses, and after this, we should pursue an MSc to have more chances for placements. The college only provides degrees for students. For other courses like DG, there are good placements, so I gave 2 stars only in the context of DG courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our courses is very poor because we don't have a specific lab for robotics; we only have a computer lab, which is also in poor condition. The Wi-Fi is not very good, and the hostel food is okay, but we lack facilities to wash our clothes.
Faculty: The faculties are good; they support us and encourage us to participate in various hackathons. They teach us well and do not force us to do anything. They support our internships and give credit for exams. The exams are also manageable, and I have no complaints about them.
Other: This college did not meet my expectations. Please only come here if you want a degree. If you are looking for placements, then go to a better college.

Overall, it is good and you will get placed if you work hard and study hard.
Placements: More than 210 students used to join this college and more than 80 students got admission through the recruitment drive, with admission from the world's largest shipping company and many other good companies coming here to recruit the cadets from this college and other good things are there.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good and AC classes have been there for all the years. You can have a good taste in food and will love all the things here other than studies and many other things so you can give it a try if you don't want to go for the normal course.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and mostly are chief engineers and captains in this college and many other things are there. You will experience many other things other than studies—real-life experiences you will get like life on a raft, a lifeboat and many other things.
Other: I always wanted to do something exciting beyond my 9-to-5 job.

Amet University has an excellence of 30 years with very good placement.
Placements: They have a partnership with many leading shipping companies, like Maersk line and ships, etc. They provide very good placement. The top courses offered at this university are BE MARINE ENGINEERING, B.Sc. NAUTICAL Science, GME, and GP RATING. The highest package offered for this course is INR 24 lacs per annum and the least package will be INR 4 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: They also have a ship on campus, which will be more helpful for practical classes. In hostel they provide a very good and clean rooms and washrooms for students and also they provide a separate table fan for every one, they provide RO drinking water.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced and very kind towards the students. The staff members who are handling DG cadets will have at least 15 years of sailing experience. They provide very good knowledge to the students and they also share sailing experience with them.
Other: I chose these courses because we can earn more in this shipping field.

Placements: Only a few students got placed in our college. Students got placed in Maersk.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all the facilities. They are above average. Wi-Fi is available in our college. Its speed is decent. We have a lab and a swimming pool. A doctor and ambulance are available 24X7 in our college. Our canteen provides decent food.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. They do not speak English fluently, so we face some difficulties. Some of them do not have good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are difficult.

Join only after placement.
Placements: College is providing placement in companies like MAERSK, VSHIPS, etc. It provides placements in many companies. The university has tieups with different companies to provide placements for the students. If the students are well enough they can get placements.
Infrastructure: The college is having a decent infrastructure and has AC classrooms and there are many labs with minimum of working equipments. It has drawing halls for engineering drawing and mainly it has a shipping campus where it provided with the original main engine of ship .
Faculty: The faculty have minimum of 8-10 years of experience so the faculty is well enough to teach us. There are many faculty members with high experience so that its is easy for the students to understand and learn.
