Overall, this college is not worth the money.

Placements: There are no placements for our courses, and after this, we should pursue an MSc to have more chances for placements. The college only provides degrees for students. For other courses like DG, there are good placements, so I gave 2 stars only in the context of DG courses.

Overall, college is satisfactory, especially for people in northern India.

Placements: Generally, 60 percent of the students get placed in companies with good packages. The rate of placement is increasing each year, and more companies are coming to campus. Companies come in all years, from first to fourth, so getting placed has become easy now.

Not satisfied with placements and students, also facilities are boring.

Placements: Top recruiting is Maserk Co. The role is a freight forwarder. The highest package is 3.6 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA. The top role is freight forwarder and manager. The student percentage going to the internship is around ninety(90) %.

Fees are very high in this college.

Placements: Placements are somewhat better here. You will surely get a job, but the salary package offered will not enough because you will get almost a salary package of 12 lacs for four years. So relationships which you are going to create in the college is the main source to get good salary packages.

Good infrastructure but working hard is very important if marine is your dream.

Placements: Placements are good. They start recruiting you from your first academic. Many are placed with a medium salary starting from 15k per month. College doesn't provide internship and it's not compulsory either. The students are made to attend campus placement.

The infrastructure is good and many labs are there.

Placements: In our college, the placements are good, earlier it was too good, but now, it was decreased. Comparing to other marine colleges, this is good for placements. So, last year, many foreign companies were taking the students. 70 students out of 200 got placed, and sometimes it will be more.

Earlier placement was good but now day by day it is decreasing.

Placements: Earlier, the placements were good, but now day by day it is decreasing, among other marine colleges, this college is good for placements. Out of 200 students per batch 90 will be selected, and in some batches, 100 students also get selected.

It gives a good experience related to marine lifestyle and schedule.

Placements: There are good placements with all international companies visiting the college with high packages and promotions. The college provides international placements to all departments and alumni are on usual visits. The companies like Goodwood, Maersk Line, Shell, Chevron and many more are on regular placement visits.

Naval architecture at Academy of Maritime Education and Training.

Placements: The placements were average. The core companies visiting the college are very less. The CTC was around 2-4 lacs per annum was offered. Alumni network is poor. The department was started only in 2007. Hence, a number of alumni are few. Senior batches had placements from Sembawang Shipyard and Keppel. The placement cell of the department is not very active. The industry institution relations are for namesake.

Absolutely not satisfied because of infrastructure, hostel facilities, placements in 2017.

Placements: The placement is okay kind of thing, but the placement percentage is only around 35%, and they are increasing the number of seats for this course, so in the future, it's very difficult to get placed. Now itself, it's 250 members per batch. From this year, that is 2017 batch, who are going to get passed out in 21, they are trying to increase it to 500.

BE marine in Amet University.

Placements: In our batch, only a few got placed, and few are exceptional students. If you are an average student, you must have a reference otherwise it is very difficult even to attend the interview and to get a job. We have to pay 4 to 4.5 lakhs to an agent to get a job. So, think before you join in this course.

Very much satisfied due to placements etc.

Placements: We are the first batch of mechanical engineering in our university and based on our GPA and placement skills, many companies are offering placements. We are mainly skilled in the marine sector and the marine students were placed in Maersk, the world's biggest shipping company.

Teachers of this college are well knowledgeable. The food is good but hostel accommodation is not as per regulations and the rules were too strict and were mostly used to frighten the student rather than maintaining discipline. Now, most of the faculty has changed and can’t take it as a valid point. The food is worth the money. Placements are not so good but are still better than other marine colleges.

AMET University is one of the maritime colleges which is located in Kanathur, Chennai (Capital city of Tamil Nadu). The college is located on the outskirts of Chennai in a very calm and secluded place and just a few steps out of the college you get to see a nice small beach which is a best place to relax on weekends and rejuvenate yourself for the coming week. And moreover you get to meet people from different parts of the country. And interact with them and exchange your cultural beliefs. Comi...

Our college has experienced teachers.

Placements: Around 60% to 65% of students get placed every year. Companies like MAERSK, V Ships, NYK, and many other reputed companies visit our college to recruit students. Majority of the cadets get placed at MAERSK. It is a three-year course.

An average college with good labs.

Placements: Nearly 30% of the cadets are placed. The top recruiting companies are Maersk, Goodwood, Sea-team Shipping, Chevron, NYK Line. The internship is mandatory. Every cadet is hired as a trainee cadet.

Review of Academy of Maritime Education and Training.

Placements: There were no placements here. Our parents are fooled saying false assurance regarding placements. Owner of the college is good, and sometimes VC is also easy to approach.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty members.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. But now the selection is of very few because of great competition among cadets and the company needing only a few of them. Selection is not made prior to the knowledge that a student knows, but how much the student scored in exams.
