I am satisfied with this college, because I get placements from Maersk.

Placements: Almost 80-90% of students are placed in good companies, and almost 90 to 95 cadets get placements by Maersk because they are the main recruiting company. Some more companies Goodwood, Chevron, PIL, etc., that visit to hire students. This college offer many courses, but they are famous for maritime.

Our college has good placements and great faculty members.

Placements: More than 100 cadets got placed in various companies like Maersk Line, Seateam Management Pte Ltd and Goodwood Ship Management Pte Ltd while studying in the second year. I hope 50 more cadets will get placed in the next year in some other companies. Overall, AMET University provides a good number of placements.

Faculty members are very good here, and the discipline maintained is also good.

Placements: Almost 60%-70% of the boys and girls got placed during our placement session from our college. Every department gets its related placement offers, and for placements, a lot of IT companies visit here. I don't know about the placements of non-DG courses. However, in DG courses, placements are very good. Especially Maersk Line visits here to select us.

It is a good college with the best faculty members.

Placements: The placement percentage of the college was pretty well, but due to the recession in the industry, placements were reduced. The average salary package offered was different from every company. Top recruiting companies for this course were Maersk, Chevron, Goodwood, Sea Team. The role which was offered in this course was to handle all the machinery present on board ship.

It is a good college to purse MBA in Shipping.

Placements: Placements for our batch and our senior batch were good. The placement cell was effective and placed the whole MBA batch except a few students with irregularities. Around 8 companies visited the college during the final year. We were asked to get internships on our own. The salaries depend on the academic background and interpersonal skills of students.

Words from my heart for my college.

Placements: 80% placement. But it depends on the individual how he takes it because college will give you chance to sit for camps interview. They allow you to sit according to the CGPA of the student and the student gets 3 chances to sit for interview this is done so that everyone gets chance of sitting for interview since there are 250 cadets in a batch.

I have no regrets for choosing this college for my course.

Placements: The placements are very good. A lot of high-end companies like Maersk Line Andhra Pradesh, Moller, Goodwood come on a regular basis and recruit hand-full cadets. The placement cell of the college helps students to get placed in good companies without any extra fees or charges.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members, placement services, and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good. Almost 70% of the students were placed in well-reputed shipping companies. During 2013 and even after that, Maersk was taking care of the cadets' placements. It was a good experience after studying in AMET as they also prepare you for such interviews and placements.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities available on the campus.

Placements: Placements in this university were too good than other maritime universities in Tamilnadu. In our senior batch, about 7 to 8 companies visit and take about 70% deck candidates. In our batch, about three companies came until now like Maersk, Goodwood, Seateam and had taken about 40% of deck candidates. Placement was too good in this university.
