AKTU PhD Admission 2023
AKTU offers a PhD programme for a duration of three years under four streams, including Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Management Studies and Applied Sciences. Candidates seeking admission to PhD programme must meet either of the following eligibility requirements:
- Passed UG and PG degree in relevant stream with first-class division from a recognised institute/ university
- Passed UG and PG degree from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of two years of work experience in the fields of Industrial Research, or Teaching
- Passed ME/ MTech or equivalent degree in relevant stream from a recognised institute/ university
- Passed PG degree in the field of Applied Sciences from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 60% aggregate
AKTU PhD admission process is based on performance of a candidate in an entrance exam conducted by the University, followed by a PI round. For seeking admission, eligible candidates need to fill AKTU PhD application form and submit it along with mandatory enclosures to university's admission cell. There are 15 specialisations under PhD programme which are tabulated below:
