The AKTU fees for various courses is cumulative of several fee components. These components are tuition fees, hostel fees, one-time fees, etc. The fee components and amount vary across the colleges affiliated with AKTU. Across all the AKTU-affiliated colleges offering a BPharma, the total fee ranged between INR 1.3 Lacs and INR 5.4 lakh. Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. The direct admission is provided only on vacant seats at institution or college level. Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Class 12 from UP board/ CBSE or any other equivalent board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45% aggregate in Class 12 (40% for SC/ ST candidates) to apply for BTech course.

AKTU accepts JEE Main Scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. AKTU BTech cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff ranged between 30751.6 and 1413411 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive course with a Last Round closing rank of 30751.6 for the General AII India category students.

MBA is one of the top courses of AKTU. AKTU offers MBA at campus through the Institute of Engineering & Technology, UP Institute of Design and Faculty of Management Studies. Students pursuing MBA from AKTU have a chance of getting placed in top companies. The university conducts placement drive every year. As per media reports,  1,531 students were selected in TCS. A total of 318 students were placed with a package of INR 7.60 LPA in TCS Digital and rest 1,213 students were placed with a package of INR 3.60 LPA in TCS Ninja during AKTU placement 2023. 

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

AKTU offers a full-time DPharm through City Group of College, which is a college affiliated to AKTU. The college offers a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy for candidates who have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science. Admission to the programme is granted based on the applicants' merit in Class 12, subject to fulfiment of the eligibility criteria and availability of seats. The DPharm fee at City Group of College is INR 5.2 lakh. The mentioned fee is sourced from official sources but is still subject to change.

AKTU offers various UG and PG courses based on IPU CET exam through its affiliated colleges. In connection to it, the university has released the cutoff for various All India and Home State quotas. Further, as per the AKTU cutoff 2024, the last-round stood between 151726 and 154086 for the General AI category candidates. AKTU acccepts IPU CET apart from other exams, for admission to BTech courses. The last-round closing ranks for admission were out. To get admission to BTech via IPU CET, the General AI category candidate must have a rank under 151726 for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. For BTech in Information Technology, the rank must be below 154086 among the General AI category. Evidently, it is possible to get admission to for BTech at 150000 rank in IPU CET. 

JEE Main is one of the accepting exams for AKTU BTech admission. Looking at the below trend, JEE Main cutoff for BTech course is the highest for Biotechnology. In comparison to 2021, the cutoff saw a declining trend for most of the specialisations. The cutoffs indicate an easy selection process of AKTU affiliated colleges.

National Testing Agency NTA has released the syllabus of JEE Main 2026 on the official website. Students can download the current JEE Main syllabus PDF from Shiksha page or from the JEE Main official page to start their preparation. It is advised that students prepare for the exam strictly as per the syllabus and do not leave any topic to prepare for the exam.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held from 2nd April 2026 to 9th April 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 for Session 2 will be available on the website.

Candidates applying for the admission in  the AKTU MBA program.

Candidates  should appear for the CUET PG exam, conducted by NTA. The university does not conduct any separate entrance examination for the same.

 For the final selection, AKTU will conduct the counselling session for seat allocation.

 Eligibility criteria for the admission in the AKTU MBA programme candidates must complete their gradiation with 50% marks.
