AKTU MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2024
The MCA course offered at AKTU is two years long. Aspirants must check out the course-specific eligibility criteria before applying for admission to this college for MCA. AKTU MCA admission is provided based on CUET-PG, NIMCET, CUET, GPAT and UPTAC scores.

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria require a candidate to have graduated (in any discipline) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% aggregate.
AKTU MCA Fees 2024
The total tuition fee for MCA courses ranges from INR 59,500 - INR 4.8 lakh. AKTU MCA fee is also inclusive of other components, such as security deposit, hostel fee, and more. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat after final selection. It must be noted that the given fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. However, it is subject to change and is hence indicative.

Experience of FGIET college in MCA course.
Placements: In my course, Master of Computer Applications, 40% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the average salary package was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. Many roles were offered, such as web developer intern, full-stack web developer, process associate, software engineer trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: In the MCA department, more facilities are provided, such as a library, laboratory, hostel, playground, classrooms, conference hall, reading hall, Wi-Fi, and computer labs. In the hostel, the college provides good quality food, medical facilities, sports grounds, and cleaning services.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable with good teaching skills. The course is good, but some improvements are needed, such as incorporating new technologies, advanced coding, and spoken English skills. The exams are neither too difficult nor too easy, they are average. Approximately 90% of students pass on their first attempt.

Value for money and placements are average.
Placements: When discussing the placement percentage of students, we can't expect much from this college. In our batch, only 40% of students secured placements or internships in various startup companies. The highest salary package offered to students is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is far from the college. It is not very far, you can go to college within 15 minutes. The hostel food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They help when students ask some doubts about their subjects. They will always support students. Whenever students need them, they will help. The teaching quality is very good. All teachers are well-trained. They have their subject knowledge. Students have to study hard to pass exams. Faculty members at this college are supportive. They always support students in achieving their daily tasks. They are well-trained teachers. They teach very well according to the study of their course.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, but for college life, it's full of disappointment.
Placements: There isn't a specific known percentage for placements here. You get a decent company, but don't expect big names like Google or Amazon—more like Infosys. I'm referring to the MCA course, not BTech or others. It's also hard to maintain attendance here.
Infrastructure: The food quality is good, and there's also a cafe area, but it feels like a school environment. They ask you to maintain 95% attendance, which is tough to manage. I spoke to some students, and they said it used to be a good college, but things have changed now.
Faculty: Teachers can be rude or cool, depending on the student's behavior. They aren't bad, but if you're looking for a school-like experience, then go for it. Another issue is that they charge fines, and it's really hard to follow all the rules, which is disappointing.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: In this college, near about 200 students were placed with good packages. The highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest is 3.4 LPA. INFOSYS, TCS, ACCENTURE, etc. are top companies that visit per year for campus placements. Many of them were selected as SDEs in WIPRO and TECH MAHINDRA.
Infrastructure: In our college, high-speed Wi-Fi is available and all smart class facilities are there. The quality of the hostel is very comfortable for all students, and per year, Sports Day happens for all the college students to participate in these games and win prizes.
Faculty: All the faculty teachers are very helpful to you and they also clear your each and every doubt. Most of the teachers are pass-outs from M.Tech and a few of them have done Ph.D. The semester exam is not so much difficult if you cover the whole syllabus with good preparation.
Other: Many of the seniors from my college have passed out and are doing jobs with good positions. I chose this course because it gave me the best opportunity in the IT field. There are so many fests that happen, including fresher and farewell parties.

Value for money, too much strictness and discipline, uniform, placement is very excellent.
Placements: Mostly, 80-85% of students are placed in the past years, and 60 students from my batch are also placed. The highest package is around 12-13 Lacs per annum, the average is around 5 Lacs per annum, and the minimum package is 3.19 Lacs per annum. Top recruiter companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, LTI, and Mindtree. Many got offer letters from Accenture, 2 from Modak, and likewise. Top rules in my college include discipline and attendance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is something that is an issue for only MCA and MBA students, as they are making new buildings for both departments. There is soil, machines around, as they are consistently working to improve it. Classrooms and the library are very fine as they include facilities like ACs, projectors, etc. Hostels for both girls and boys are fine, but they are too strict as they do not allow you to go outside after 7 PM, and you need parental permission to go out at night. The canteen and mess are very good, and GL Bajaj is working effectively on sports. We have many opportunities to show our skills in sports, and the college always supports it. They now have their own cricket teams.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice and supportive, but the HOD is very strict. The course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty good, and you have to maintain 75% attendance to appear in semester exams at the college. Uniform, etc., is required. They work on you as the placement cell is very efficient and works on students' communication, technical skills, and formal grooming.

This college is a total scam.
Placements: Most jobs were as interns. This college placement percentage is just 20-30%. Giving you my experience, I was shortlisted by a company ( not yet placed ) but my college people displayed me and other students as placed students with so and so package.
Infrastructure: -According to their brochure, they are providing wifi but actually they don't.
-And some of the classes don't have AC.
-They don't even have a classroom for final year students (Mca)
-Canteen is ok but can ve more hygienic.
-Washrooms dont have soap dispensers
Faculty: They don't conduct classes for final year students.
They provide training, workshops and the pass percentage is also good. But some of the faculty members are not even elegible. Eg- a faculty is a class coordinator and even giving lectures for a specific subject to MCA students but he himself is a M.Tech student of that same college.
Other: College's brochure is a trap. It is full of lies. They lied about college fest, wifi, ACs. Most important they don't provide UP government scholarship to the general category students except those have enrolled through CUET.

AKTU JEE Main Cutoff was released for various BTech and other courses. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks for different categories under the All India and Home State quota. Overall, the most in-demand specialisation was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering.
