It is not possible to apply for a B.Ed course immediately after completing Class 12. Eligibility for B.Ed requires a graduation or post-graduation degree. However, individuals interested in pursuing a teaching career right after Class 12 can opt for a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course. B.Ed is a professional programme designed for graduates or postgraduates; hence, those aspiring to become teachers after completing Class 12 can undertake a Diploma in Elementary Teaching. Upon completion of D.El.Ed, they can qualify as elementary teachers.

The passing minimum marks in Alagappa University exam is 40% out of 25/15 marks in theory papers. A minimum of 40% out of 40/10* marks is required in practical exams. 

The passing minimum for university exams shall be 40% out of 75/ 60*marks for Theory papers and 40% out of 60/40* marks) for Practical papers.

No, Alagappa University BSc course admission is merit-based. Candidates are admitted to the UG programmes based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. The university or its affiliated colleges may release a cutoff list to declare the minimum aggregate.

However, for the BSc in Nautical Sciences course, candidates shall have a valid score of IMUCET. This programme is offered by Coimbatore Marine College. Also, admission to BSc in Physical Education course is done based on candidates performance in the Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Games Test marks.

The last date to apply at Alagappa University Admission 2024 for entrance-based and non-entrance-based courses is usually in May. Currently, the applications are open for admission 2024. Candidates can apply for B.Ed and MCA till May 20, 2024. For MBA and MCA, the applications are open till May 27, 2024.
