Alagappa University offers a full-time two-year MSc programme in different disciplines. Admission to MSc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Microbiology) programmes is done basis the entrance exam (50% weightage) and marks obtained in the qualifying examination (50% weightage) whereas admission to the MSc (Biotechnology) course is done basis of entrance test and interview marks. - Admission to the remaining MSc programmes is done basis only on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The best college for M.Sc. In Chemistry.
Placements: About 75% of students are placed in our college. The highest salary package is 8 LPA, while the average salary is 4 LPA and a minimum of 3 LPA. About 65 percent of the students have secured internships in our college. Companies that come to our college for recruitment include TCS, Infosys, Jubilant Life Sciences, Syngene, and Drs. Reddy Laboratories. The main roles of our course are researcher, analyst, and process development specialties.
Infrastructure: With Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, a library with a vast variety of books, a computer lab, a conference room, and a study lounge, our college infrastructure and amenities are excellent. The hostel has excellent facilities, clean, eco-friendly surroundings, and spacious rooms. The food is tasty and of decent quality as well. Additionally, we have a medical facility with nurses and doctors. A gym, a badminton court, a volleyball court, and a table tennis area are among the sports facilities available to students.
Faculty: The professors here are excellent. They're well-informed, and they have a distinct teaching approach that takes into account the needs of each student. They take the initiative and have a lot of experience. In the classroom, we use a case-based approach to learning, where everyone gains insight from one another's viewpoint. The teachers provide us with ongoing assistance and direction, pointing us in the right direction. The course material is current, and the tests are challenging. To pass, you must be well-prepared and possess critical thinking skills. About 75% of students pass.

One of the best college for M.Sc. in Zoology.
Placements: Our batch was placed with almost 90% of the students. The leading employers were the pharmaceutical industry, biotech corporations like Biocon and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and research institutes. The average compensation package offered was 4 LPA, while the highest offered was 6 LPA. 2.5 LPA was the lowest salary package available. The most popular positions were Quality Control Analyst, Lab Technician, and Research Associate.
Infrastructure: Our college's facilities are up to date and include good classroom and mess facilities. There is Wi-Fi. The mess and canteen costs are reasonable, and the food is reasonably priced. Three research classrooms and computer labs are available. The library offers a respectable study space in addition to a good selection of books, periodicals, and magazines. The campus is lovely and near nature. Sports facilities are also available, although we don't have much free time because of our frequent coursework and internships.
Faculty: If you have any questions, you can get in touch with the excellent professors. Every instructor is highly skilled and supportive in their subject-matter instruction. They're also really friendly. Teachers come from reputable colleges and are well-qualified. They know a great deal about their topic. They have excellent educational standards. The course material is current. Exams for the semester are scheduled on time. The exam for the semester is really challenging. The pass rate is approximately 80%.

Placements: In our college and courses, around 70-80% of students get placed every year, with the highest package being 8 LPA and the average being 5 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. Top hiring companies include HUL, Asian Paints, Pfizer, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and BASF. Internship rates are also quite good, going up to 70%. The roles offered after the course are Research Associate, Quality Control Analyst, Process Engineer, and Chemist.
Infrastructure: The college had decent infrastructure with all the necessary amenities required by the students. We had a well-maintained library and Wi-Fi available throughout the campus. The college also had air-conditioned classrooms and an auditorium. Labs were available. The hostel had a well-equipped mess where quality food was served. There were good medical facilities and good playgrounds.

The pass rate was high and 90% of the students passed the semester exams.

Overall best University for M.Sc. In Zoology Course.
Placements: Approximately 83% of the participants were placed. The highest package was around 27 LPA, and the lowest was 9 LPA, even though the lowest package in the college was around 3 LPA. The top recruiters were Pfizer, TIFR, and ICAR. If you are only looking for a job, this college is not worth it because some employers won't even post their openings here. Top positions include Environment Consultant and Conversation Officer.
Infrastructure: The college campus is made up of four main buildings connected by flyovers. It has a well-stocked library with audio and online search services, and Wi-Fi is available on all floors. Additionally, the college has a large field and two basketball courts, which encourage students to participate in sports and other activities. Furthermore, the cafeteria is renowned for its cleanliness and affordability.
Faculty: Teachers are really knowledgeable and qualified. Their instruction is kind and comprehensive. The curriculum is up-to-date. They address every subject in the curriculum. The best decision to pursue an M.Sc. in mathematics from Alagappa.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed on average every year is somewhere around 80%–90%, and if we talk particularly about this year, then the placement rate was 92%; almost all the students got good package offerings, and the average placement package was 5,75,000 per annum.
Infrastructure: Alagappa University is a very well-regarded institution with strong infrastructure and other facilities provided to the students. The food quality in the mess and the other facilities provided to us in the hostel are totally on par with other top colleges and universities in India.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college and our university are just top-notch. If we particularly talk about the faculty members in our course, which was an M.Sc. in mathematics, then they are extremely good. Let me tell you that they don't prioritize quantity over quality, and that applies to almost all the subjects.
