Aliah University reviews.
Placements: Ten percent of students were placed in our course. The lowest package offered is 2LPA, the average is 4LPA, and the highest is 8LPA. TCS is a top company recruiting from our course. Web development is one of the top roles offered. Approximately 80 current students have secured internships from our course, in TCS.
Infrastructure: There are many labs, smart classrooms, and Wi-Fi available. Additionally, the faculty is helpful. In the library, each type of book is available. Our hostel provides various facilities including mess, canteen, and medical facilities. The fee for a B.Ed. is $300 per month. The food quality is good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful; each holds a doctorate. Their teaching techniques are effective and smart. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are average as our university follows an autonomous system. A maximum of 80 percent of students pass.
Other: We chose this course because it offers job opportunities and eligibility for many government jobs.

Aliah university is the best university .
Placements: The highest package offered was Rs. 8 Lacs per annum and the lowest package offered was Rs. 2 Lacs per annum. The average package offered was Rs. 5 Lacs per annum. There are many top recruiting companies for students in the field of computer Science. Some of these companies include Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple. The percentage of students who receive internships from these companies varies, but overall, computer Science students have a good chance of securing an internship with one of these companies.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready. Other: I chose this course because it was the best fit for my academic and career goals. The best things about the course are the small class sizes, the dedicated and experienced teaching staff, and the opportunity to study abroad. I wish the course was better organised and that there was more support available for students.

Absolutely Dissatisfied Because of Placements, but Infrastructure and Campus are Beautiful
Placements: About 60% of the 2024 batch were placed in my course. The highest package was 10.7 LPA, the lowest was around 2.5 LPA, whereas the average package offered in my course was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, and Rashmi Group. About 30% of students got internships from the 3rd or 4th year onwards in Rashmi Group and TCS. We are taught many computer-based subjects, which help in top roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good except for some of them. The overall infrastructure of our course and hostel is average. Wi-Fi is not available in classrooms or the hostel; it is only available in seminar halls and official rooms. Labs are not good enough; they are without AC, and some of them don’t even have enough chairs to sit. Our classrooms are big in space, but they are normal classrooms without AC and smart boards. The library is nice and well-maintained, but again, AC is not in the library. The quality of food is not that bad, but the canteen has nice food. Our college has medical facilities too. In Aliah University, there are physical sports like cricket or football, but no e-games.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are helpful, although they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is below average. This course is curriculum relevant, and only a few subjects are irrelevant. Somehow, the curriculum makes a student industry-ready, but not in all aspects. Our semester exams are quite tough, and the passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I was a passionate computer student. The best thing about our course is that most of the subjects are computer-based. I wish some of the irrelevant subjects were removed and teachers started teaching students according to the need of the industry; then it would be much better. We have very few events and fests, like once in 6 months. The campus crowd is good. The surroundings of the campus are mostly of companies like TCS and Wipro. We get a scholarship of 60,000 every year.

Why to taken admission in Aliah University?
Placements: Placement opportunity at Aliah university provide incampus placement opportunities, every engineering and computer Science student get chance to seat in the interview. Some of the top tech companies are as follows:-

Infrastructure: Being a state government run university the infrastructure is relatively good. Newton campus is situated in a very comfy place, it is full of greenary, less traffic but with good transportation, less polluted and etc. Aliah university also provide hostel facilities both for boys and girls and hostel life is excellent.
Faculty: Aliah university has good qualified teaching staff but number of professor are less. Curriculum followed by Aliah University is same as followed by most of the Universities and private colleges and hence there is no complain there. Exam's in Aliah University are taken semester wise and semester are mostly of 4-5 months.
Other: AUAT Examination:-
To get admission in Aliah University you have to clear their AUAT Examination, which is an entrance test taken for Science, engineering, commerce and arts field.

The best college under the government of West Bengal.
Placements: I got placed in ATiT company after completing my MCA. The university was under the government of West Bengal. My total BCA with MCA fee was around Rs. 80,000 only. Many MNC companies like Amazon, Cognizant and Wipro, etc., visited our college for placement drives. The main recruiter of our college was Tata Consultancy.
Infrastructure: The best college under the government of West Bengal. The infrastructure of the college was beautiful. Hostel for boys and girls were provided. The culture followed here is more inclined towards Islamic culture. The college was just like Aligarh Muslim University. We can say this college was like Second AMU. The college provided a 16-storey beatufiul building for the boys' hostel.
Faculty: Our university offers a wide range of courses. It has two campuses, one is in Park Circus and the second campus is in New town. In Park Circus, arts courses were offered. In New Town campus, engineering courses and management courses like MBA and BBA were offered. The college is the best in the MBA.

There are many top recruiting companies for computer science students like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple. The percentage of students who receive internships from these companies varies but computer science students have a good chance of securing internships from one of these companies. The roles offered are junior software engineer, software engineer, senior software engineer, lead software engineer, architect, technical lead, project manager, and product manager.
