One of the best engineering colleges in West Bengal.

Faculty: Teachers were so friendly & always helped to increase students knowledge. In West Bengal, I think Aliah University exam fees are lower than any other colleges. It's around 6k per semester. Exams are a little bit difficult but not too much; if you can study, then you can easily pass the exam.

Aliah University, an Institute with Great Potential to be One of the Best in the Country.

Faculty: The institute has a good reputation for having great faculty. The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They teach in a very innovative way for the students, which is very helpful for students of all stature, starting from the average ones to the very highly qualified ones. The curriculum they follow to teach the students is prepared, keeping in mind the benefit of the students. It is extremely relevant for the current times, as it helps the student...

Absolutely Dissatisfied Because of Placements, but Infrastructure and Campus are Beautiful

Faculty: Only a few teachers are helpful, although they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is below average. This course is curriculum relevant, and only a few subjects are irrelevant. Somehow, the curriculum makes a student industry-ready, but not in all aspects. Our semester exams are quite tough, and the passing percentage is 35%.

Good Infrastructure and hostel facilities, placement record is also good.

Faculty: The faculty is very student-oriented, and their teaching quality is superb. They are always available for students. This course makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are neither very difficult nor very easy; if you have good knowledge about the subject, then you can definitely get full marks.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement, but really good in value for money

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified but they are not helpful and can't deliver their knowledge effectively. The curriculum is mostly irrelevant in initial years but relevant in final years. But that relevancy is not according to industry. The semester exams are quite difficult, but studying a month before exams , one can easily pass. The passing percentage is 35%.

The college is overall value for money, placements are average.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are mostly Bengali and even some of them can't speak English very well. However, they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, their teaching skills are not that great. The curriculum is almost irrelevant, especially during the first two years of the B.Tech (CSE) program. There is no computer-related subject during the first two years, and there is a subject called "Indian Constitution." On the plus side, the semester exams are at a good level, and the ...

Aliah: a dream of nightmares.

Faculty: The teachers here are awful and pathetic. It seems like you are more knowledgeable than the teacher himself. Although the university is English medium, the teachers here don't have a good command of the language. Even a class 1 student speaks better than them.

Strong technical foundation with practical exposure, supportive faculty, and vibrant campus life.

Faculty: MCA curricula are generally designed to align with the needs of the IT industry. Courses typically include: Programming languages (Java, Python, C++) Data structures, algorithms, and databases Software engineering and development methodologies Web technologies, mobile application development While some institutions maintain strong ties with industry partners, organizing internships and workshops, others may focus more on theoretical aspects. Overall, a well-rounded MCA program will include enoug...

A good college with a decent (average) placement and supportive faculties.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified. The teaching style is good for teachers except for one or two. Yes, it has made them industry-ready. Semester exams are very easy; if you just follow the previous year's questions, then you can get a good grade around 7 to 7.5 CGPA.

I think this university is very good for students who want to study in kolkata in very low budget.

Faculty: Lecturers are very good and helpful. They also adjust classes according to students and most of the teaching staff is friendly and helpful. Lecturers also give us assignments related to the course which is very helpful for building confidence. Exams are moderate.

Aliah University is good.

Faculty: I'm in my first year, so my main course hasn't started yet, but I know there are 17 faculty members for my batch, and they are good. The curriculum is strong, with a focus on industry-relevant knowledge. The faculty encourages students to secure internships. In my batch, passing isn't that difficult because the teachers are supportive. However, this might not be the case for electrical engineering students, as their semester exams are not as easy.

Review of Aliah University.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified, with all professors holding doctorate degrees from top colleges in India and abroad. Many teachers are very helpful, providing notes in an accessible format. The semester exams are of moderate to hard difficulty, with strict monitoring during exams and challenging question papers. The passing percentage is 33%.

Strong faculty and research opportunities, with good infrastructure.

Faculty: Our university has highly qualified Physics faculty with advanced degrees, including Ph.D.s. Many professors are active researchers with expertise in fields such as theoretical Physics, condensed matter, astrophysics, or quantum mechanics. They are knowledgeable and helpful. While the teaching quality and faculty qualifications are generally strong, the difficulty of exams and the course emphasis on industry readiness are mostly difficult.

Not very good facilities and average placements overall. Cleaning in the college is average.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and their teaching quality is very good. However, the course curriculum does not significantly develop knowledge, although they do prepare students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, and at least 85% of students pass.

A great university with good infrastructure, faculty, fee and placement.

Faculty: The faculty is highly educated, with many professors coming from prestigious institutions such as IIM, AMU, JU, Xavier's, and IIT. They are supportive and approachable, encouraging students to clear doubts without hesitation. The course curriculum is highly relevant and effectively prepares students for the industry. The academic structure includes two semesters each year, with challenging exams. The pass percentage is around 90%.
