Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
If one wants affordable education then AMU is the way.
Placements: In B.Com approximately 60% - 70 % of students got placement from placement cell ( highly depending on individual skills ). The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA (one's upon a time) and the average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA- 4 LPA. Top recruiting firms are generally, private banks like Axis, ICICI, and mid to local audit and accounts firms. Top roles are generally of sales sides and accountant. Generally, About 40% of students got internships but no specific company as it depends on individual to individual (AMU doesn't play any role in it ).
Infrastructure: Talking about department so is okay, like one library (which doesn't have any of the latest books ), computer lab, an auditorium, and campus Wi-Fi ( with maximum speed of 6 Mbps). Talking about hostel, that's pretty good according to price like around Rs. 4,000 a year and around Rs. 1,600 per month food which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In hostel one double sharing, table, fan, and cooler but one also gets common batch room and also a reading room and sports ground.
Faculty: B.Com faculty members are actually good, teachers are highly qualified and experienced for example Nawab Ali sir (HRM), Asif sir (management), and Aslam sir (math), are very kind and great teachers and always help their students. This course will provide knowledge about accountancy and management but lacks the practical part and real-world implementation. Semester exams are simple and can score over 7 CGPA with one day of study and passing percentage is 33%.
Other: About events and fests, there are multiple fests in each department and the biggest of them is Sir Syed Day.

B.A. LL.B. - Batch of 2026
Offered by Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Value for money with a decent faculty.
Placements: Like any other college, the placements are not well streamlined. You have to make your own way; this is the area where it’s all up to you. You won't be restrained, but you won't be provided with too. You can easily get internships to legal service authorities and other legal workhouses via the faculty.
Infrastructure: We have quite a collection of books, and at your trips, one of the largest and the oldest libraries of India, Maulana Azad Library too, apart from faculty seminars. Hostels are decent considering what one spends on them. You will be having access to various databases like Lexis and SCC Online.
Faculty: The curriculum is regularly revised, with a major emphasis on core law subjects. The workload here is less compared to other colleges. Teachers are competent and qualified, provided you can extract information from them. Passing the semester is quite easy, with only a total of dumb students failing the papers.

B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University

All colleges are good, but this is the best for me.
Placements: 20% student getting placed on campus every year. 20000 is the highest package and 5LPA is the average placement. Top companies offer to students. 35 percent student got an internship in my course in Lenskart.com and Realme companies. Senior advisory and manager roles are offered by the company.
Infrastructure: Most of the facilities provided by college such as good Wi-Fi network, air-conditioned library. Good faculty of lab and provide instruments. Hostel have cooler and also provided good food such as biryani and paneer. Cricket game is playing and health centre open in the university.
Faculty: Most of teachers graduate from IIT Delhi and IIT Madras. Teaching quality is yes, it's relevant also students make the industry globally. Difficult to pass the exam because paper level is so high and hard checking by faculty members. 35 percent required for passing.
Other: I choose this course because I am not getting in other college.

M.Tech. in Civil Engineering (Earthquake Engineering & Disaster Management) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University

Really good infrastructure and facilities as library, sports, etc.
Placements: I'm pursuing M.Tech at A.M.U. My branch is Civil Engineering (specialization in Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Management). I enrolled in this course in the 2023 batch. The percentage of students placed in this course is above 80%. In my course, the highest package of campus placement is around 12 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 5.5 Lacs per annum. The top companies coming for campus selection are L&T, Tata Construction, DLF, Birla, etc. 29% of students get internships in the government sector, like the railway, PWD, BHEL, etc. Many Structural Engineering posts and disaster management roles, such as earthquake-resistant buildings and bridges for disaster prevention.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Structural lab Dynamic lab Earthquake engineering shock lab CAD lab and Software labs like ETABS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, LS Dyna, MATLAB, SAP2000, etc. Maulana Azad library and book bank specifically for the engineering faculty in my department. Seminar rooms are provided for reading, and reading rooms are also available in the hostel. Free Wi-Fi on campus without any limitations. Free access to research papers and all types of publications. Dining facilities for food in the hostel and also a canteen for food if you are not a hosteler. All types of sports are available, including cricket, football, hockey, skating, volleyball, basketball, swimming, and horse riding. Gym facilities for all students, either in the hostel or the main gym. NCC and NSS. The hostel fee is nil; only dining fees are paid for food, which is 1500/- per month for three meals a day.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. All teachers have Ph.Ds. in our field and are highly knowledgeable. Every professor is helpful to students. Every classroom is fully air-conditioned, and smartboards are present. This course is very good for industrial and structural purposes. The semester exams in my college are tough. If you don’t study throughout the semester, you will have a chance of failing. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work abroad in earthquake-resistant design. In the past, earthquakes were not considered in building or bridge design, but nowadays, the effects of earthquakes are increasing day by day. My college also provides a GATE scholarship of 12,400/- per month for students with a valid GATE scorecard.

MBA in International Business - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Prospective of MBA with me!
Placements: Currently, I’m in my first year, witnessing the placements of our seniors. The highest placement for MBA students was about 15 LPA, and the highest stipend during the internship program was 40,000 per month. Overall, the placements were good, but they could have been better. The average package revolves around 5-6 LPA. There are 20 students in the MBA International Business (IB) class, and around 40-60% of them got placed. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Cambay, and Nykaa recruited students from the college.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-structured and furnished, with projectors, microphones, good lighting, and ample space. The university provides Wi-Fi throughout the campus for registered students. Hostel facilities are average but very affordable, ranging from 3,000-5,000 per year for accommodation. Dining charges are around 1,500-1,800 per month. The hostel food is average, but considering the affordable price, it is a reasonable option.
Faculty: There are several subjects each semester, and performance is evaluated out of 100 marks. Two examination tests are held, each worth 30 marks, and the best of these two scores is selected. The exams can be in the form of group activities, case studies, or presentations based on the teacher's preference. The final exam, worth 70 marks, is theoretical.
Other: The best thing about this course and the entire campus is the affordability. The fee structure is very reasonable; for the MBA, it’s about 22,000 per year, which covers all facilities. The department is also proactive in conducting various fests, workshops, and extracurricular activities apart from academics.

okayish infrastructure and placements but good value for money.
Placements: The placements of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology are okayishh types. Mostly students tend to seek off campus jobs as they get a better opportunity there than the one they get in college. Companies also recruit some top students at a very good package from the college only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology is okayish. It is not that good but there is greenery everywhere so you don't feel suffocated. The buildings are kind of old but the classrooms labs and libraries are built nicely.
Faculty: Faculty of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology is nice. Some teachers are very nice and teach and explain very well. Some are not able to convey their message that nicely otherwise curriculums and pattern of examinations are good. Difficulty level is also medium.
