Aligarh Muslim University offers a full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to AMU for BSc must visit the official website of the University to apply online. AMU BSc admission is completely entrance-based. Depending upon the BSc specialisation chosen by a candidate, the admission is provided based on candidates' marks in either AMU Entrance Exam or CUET-UG. AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.

Aligarh Muslim University accepts Persian/4 exam to shortlist candidates for admission to seven undergraduate courses.

In terms of placements, AMU has maintained a good record for Law courses. Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses. 

The minimum marks required for admission to AMU depends on the selected course. Generally, for all the UG courses the minimum requirement is that the candidate must have passed class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate and for AMU PG courses admission, 50% in graduation is required.
