A review of Amity University, Kolkata.

Placements: Placements in the college are usually reserved for MBA and M.Tech students. For others, they provide placement assistance. In other words, it is better not to expect much placement opportunities in the college. The reason for low placements might be that unlike students of other streams, many opt out of placement assistance as many of them want to pursue higher studies or have other plans.

Review of Amity University, Kolkata.

Placements: Placements are not that for bachelor courses especially BBA course. One would surely not offered with a salary package of above Rs. 20,000 per month. Till date as per information, only IndiGo has visited our campus for students of BBA and that too it offered a salary package ranging from Rs. 12,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. The college will help you in getting internships in companies like Ambuja Neotia, IDBI, and Paytm etc. But as per my friends' reviews, students were seated idly with...

It is an excellent college with excellent facilities.

Placements: The college provides extremely nice placements and good placement training for the students. The amount of training provided to the students of our senior batch was good. They are extremely happy with the placements provided by the college. The companies offered handsome salary packages. Now, they are in their training period, and they are enjoying it. The training managers are excellent here.

A college with the best infrastructure, and the faculty members and placements are average.

Placements: Since this is a new college, the placement cell is still weak, but there are seminars organised at regular intervals in the tourism department. Recently, a company named Victoria Travels has visited this college and had an interaction with the tourism students. Maybe in the near future, the placements of the college will get better.

Amity University Kolkata is one of the best private colleges.

Placements: Placements of our batch have not yet started as I am in 5th semester, but our senior batch is the first batch to get placed in top companies. Our college started 4 years ago, and our seniors have already secured good salary packages. Internships are a must in our college. Some students got a stipend of up to Rs. 10,000 per month in an internship while most of them worked hard for the excellence certificate. Unequivocally one gets a job when completing a B.Tech from our college.

Review of Amity University, Kolkata.

Placements: Amity's Kolkata campus is just 4 years old, and the placements here will be held for the 1st pass out batch of Amity. A few companies in the IT sector visited the campus for placements. Also, the students had been sent to the Amity Noida campus, which is the oldest campus of Amity, which is guaranteeing 100% placements. Companies approaching the Noida campus are good.

There is a friendly atmosphere to learn and prosper.

Placements: Amity provides good a placement scheme, and it is really great to get a job. The college promises 100% placements to all students, though the average salary package offered is not that good. We can search for a job on our own as well. Though the schedule is very hectic, one needs to be focused.

Amity University is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata.

Placements: Placements were good in our college, and companies offer very good salary packages. Placements of our seniors are quite good as about 50% of the students got placed until now. In upcoming days, more companies will visit, and the remaining 50% of the students will surely get placed.

The fastest growing University in Kolkata.

Placements: Amity is a brand and is recognised for the high rate of job offered to students in-campus. Our senior batch students got placed in 2018 thanks to the Placement Cell. The highest salary offered this time was 10 Lacs! All 3rd and 4th year students have to do internships, if you cant find our desired one the college manages to find one for us with the top companies.

A well recognised and reputed college.

Placements: Our senior batch is the first batch to get placed, since our college is just established few years ago. We have been encouraged to go on internships that are arranged by the college. Many of my seniors are placed with the salary of their choice. It is highly recommended to expect high scopes from my college.

Student Friendly Campus With Good Infrastructure & Faculty.

Placements: I am currently in 3rd year of my course and our seniors batch haven't seen campus placements still. They are the first batch to be selected for placement. Their grooming is going on basis of their quantitative analysis skills and field knowledge. So no company has visited this campus regarding biotechnology so far. But yes some have shown interest. One can check the list of companies in university placement website.

Review of Amity University, Kolkata.

Placements: Placements are offered only for the students of the professional courses. Only a few companies are on the lookout. A master degree is preferable after a bachelor's degree for better opportunities. The faculty members are very helpful in guiding us to choose better options. As it's a new campus, the recruitment process for students is getting into play, but it will take time.

It's a university with a great environment to study.

Placements: Students of our senior batch are well-placed. Amity holds its reputation for providing placements only. Many good companies are recruiting the students from our college by providing good salary packages. Students are always given proper training to attend and crack the placements of reputed companies.

The college is average regarding placements, laboratories, and curriculum.

Placements: Considering it is the first time AUK is being eligible for providing placements, we are not encouraged about the idea that some good number of reputed companies are going to participate in the placements. But I got to know that some companies like Flipkart, Byjus, etc., visit the campus to hire the students by offering salary packages of around 6 LPA. More companies are yet to visit the campus for placements.

My overall experience in this college is not that good.

Placements: The placements in the college are very bad when it comes to biotech because my seniors are in 4th year, and still, no company visited the campus for recruitment. I don't know what happens next. Moreover, industry exposure is not given to the students. There is a placement cell, but they do nothing for students.

Placements: The first placement season takes place this year. Companies like Tech-System, Cloud Kaptan and Byjus have visited the campus till now. Students have also gone to Noida campus for central campusing. We are hoping for the best. I hope that Amity won't deprive their students of job opportunities.

The college has to give importance to several other aspects.

Placements: We haven't yet gone through the placement process, but as per our seniors, only a few companies visited the college. Mainly, the companies relating to marketing and sales visit the campus. No company relating to technical department visits the college. 6 to 10 LPA is the minimum package offered till date. Roles offered are related to management and commerce.

Faculty members of the college are good.

Placements: The placements were just started for our campus. Some of the students have got placed when some are still waiting and weighing up options on where to get placed. Some companies have visited already and hired some students when some are destined to visit the campus in the near future. Mostly, management posts were offered. Placements: Since it's the first year of placements in our college, only 2-3 companies visited the campus till now including Flipkart, Byju's and Tech Systems. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and each company has hired only 3 to 4 students. Amity, Noida also offered jobs to some students.
