Amity University Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Kadampukur

Placements: Placement drives are still going on. This is the first placement drive which is conducted for the students of B.Tech. So, I don't have any estimation about the number of people as well as the percentage of students who get placed from the first batch. I hope that the companies which visited the college to conduct campus placements would hire students.

Placements: Placements in the college are not 100%. Few companies came to the Kolkata campus for recruitment, and seniors went to the main campus in Noida for placements. I hope they will be placed in some good company. Further updates about the placements can be seen on the Amity University, Kolkata website.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The salary packages offered to placed students were not more Rs. 25,000 per month. Moreover, they provided the students with good internships for the hands-on experience. Internships and placements are guaranteed for the students who attended for those. The stipend offered during the internships was in between Rs. 2,500 per month to Rs. 5,000 per month. Only 5% of the students got internships.

Placements: The Kolkata campus under Amity University is yet to start its 1st campusing, and therefore we have no idea about the campus placements. A few companies visited the campus for placements, yet the scope seems low. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA for the car department. Placements are not conducted for the rest of the departments.

Placements: Since the college is recently built, we are facing a bit of problem regarding the placements. The placement cell is trying their best to come up with more new companies in the coming years to keep up 75% of the placement rate. In the coming years, the college is expected to increase it rapidly.

Placements: A very few seniors were placed this year on the campus in companies like Byju's, TCS, Deloitte with an average salary package. Byju's offered the highest salary package, i.e., 10 LPA. The lowest salary package is offered by TCS. TCS and Deloitte are the top recruiters. Top salary fields included sales, and it was offered by Byju's. Placements: My batch has not been placed yet, but I have known couple of brands like Byju's came and gave pretty good packages, upto 10 Lacs to our seniors (a selected few). Their base salary was around 4 Lacs. Some of my seniors got their opportunity. Jobs like Sales and Marketing were offered as per my knowledge. Placements: Amity University, Kolkata is an emerging university and 2019 batch will be the first batch attending campus placements. The placements of Amity University, Kolkata are good in comparison to the other branches of Amity. This university promises good placements and has an excellent placement record. Big brands and well-known companies like Wipro, TCS, Flipkart, etc., have offered placements in this university.

Placements: About 4 students got placed from our senior batch. The highest salary package of 8 LPA and the lowest salary package of 4 LPA are offered in our college. Only one company visited our campus, i.e., Byju's. There is a placement cell in our college, and it's very useful and efficient. I don't know what kind of roles are offered to the students. Many students got internships from our college, including me.

Placements: We are the first batch of our college for placements. Companies like TEKsystems, EPAM, TCS, Byju's, etc., visited our campus for placements until now. Amazon and many more companies will visit our campus for placements. MBA gets great placements, and also other branches.

Placements: We are the second batch in this department, and the placements for our senior batch has not yet started. So I cannot mention anything in detail about what actually happens in placements. But as per Amity is known it has good placements. Genuine companies visit. I cannot really say anything in regarding this as I mentioned the first batch is yet to get placed.

Placements: The first batch just passed out from the college. I've no idea about the placements. It's hard to say anything about placements because the college is newly established. But the college provides summer internship to the students. I hope the college provides better placements in the coming years.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. I don't know about the percentage of students who got placed. Companies like Uber, Google and Colgate etc., came to our college for placements. Students get to practice what the have learnt so far. They get real-life experience and they learn a lot. There is a placement cell in our college. Placements: The first batch of the college is going to graduate this year. But the branches of this college are known for excellent placements. It is mandatory to do an internship at the end of your 4th semester. The college has provided good internship opportunities for our senior batch.

Placements: This time the first batch of psychology will pass out from this college so don't know much about the placement. However the placement in other courses seem to be great. Speaking of internship, good opportunity is offered by reputed companies. However stipend isn't offered during internship.

Placements: Some students get internships on their own, and some got internships with the help of our university. Most of the students are guaranteed with internship by the college. The college provides internships even for the students of obscure and rarely found courses such as forensics and others.

Placements: Placements offered in our college were good, and you are allowed to search for your own placements too. They give you the placement you deserve. We have enjoyed and learnt a lot. The college takes a lot of initiatives to give you the best placements. Designers are allowed to make choices in designing, window displaying, market merchandising, etc. Garment manufacturing and flat patterns are allotted when you reach your confidence level.

Placements: Placements are not done yet because our first batch is still in 3rd-year. Internships are offered to the seniors, and it is in good places. They are not excellent, but it's satisfactory. Internships on designing textile and marketing are given. We hope that we get placed in good companies.

Placements: This branch of Amity is only three years old. So no placements have been give as of now. The first batch of designing will get placements next year. Internship is not compulsory for first year students but it is compulsory for the second third and fourth year students and is given by the college. Students also have the opportunity to arrange for their own internships if they have contacts.

Placements: Bachelors in English Honours is not a degree where you need placement right after graduation. You need to pursue few other courses before getting a job. I don't know about other departments.
