The campus placement is average this year but in the previous year it was good.
Placements: Almost 60 percent of students got placed in the Diploma in Mechanical and the highest salary is 3.6 LPA from L & T Company. The average salary is 1.8 LPA and the lowest salary is 1.5 LPA. About 30 percent of students got internships from my course. And the roles acquired by the students are DET and Maintenance Engineer.
Infrastructure: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) boasts a comprehensive infrastructure that supports its academic and research endeavors. Key features include:

The quality of food in the Sir Cross Masood hall is outstanding and fabulous the timing of the food is very good and the canteen facility is also so good.

Other: I chose Diploma Mechanical Engineer because it has the capability to enhance the features, and skill and development for my country and abroad, like Gulf countries. All over the facility, including fests, events, and campus crowds, is huge in annual functions and the sir syed day and the Wi-Fi connectivity for the students are also very good and helpful.

Brief review on AMU University’s Polytechnic campus.
Placements: Diploma in engineering’s placements are good enough as the name of AMU attracts the companies’ attention but they offer really low packages which are unable to meet today’s expenses and lifestyle. The class volume is also decent having 45 students arranged in each batch. The faculty is really cooperative with the students as well.
Infrastructure: Our department is the best which I found as I was seeking colleges. The college has standard labs present with all the expensive equipments available in a good number so that all the students can fairly use them and learn. There are smart classrooms present for learning along with a library facility being available.
Faculty: There are 3 stages in marks distributed in all the 3 years or 6 semesters. The mid semester exams consists of 25 numbers and are also for scoring good marks. 15 marks will be given on the basis of attendance, assignments and copies. At last, the end semester exam consists of 60 marks.

University Polytechnic, AMU, Aligarh.
Placements: About 50% of students who have applied for placements got placed by some well-known companies such as L&T, Precision Industries UAE, IFFCO, etc. Some students got placed around 5 LPA, and some of them got placements of about 8 LPA, with some abroad placements also available.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, with excellent classes equipped with projectors and AC. Also, Wi-Fi facilities are available 24/7 in hostels and throughout the whole campus. Food is quite good; you can get both veg and non-veg options, costing around 1400 rupees per month for three meals a day.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and experienced; some of them hold Ph.D. s. However, the way they teach is quite difficult to understand. The Diploma here is a three-year, six-semester programme. Each semester consists of one mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam, which are not very tough.
Other: I pursued this course due to my keen interest in the technical field, and the environment of the campus is fabulous, which is another reason. Moreover, it is a prestigious central university.

Absolutely satisfied because of placements, a very good infrastructure and fees.
Placements: Total percentage of students getting placed in Diploma in electrical and instrumentation is 65%. Average package offered in this course is around 3 to 6 Lacs. Many top recruiting companies like L&T, Reliance industries, Tata power and others visit for recruitments. Some of the students got internships in the college while the rest got internships from the companies.
Infrastructure: In this university, many facilities are available including a hall provided. There is a playground and Wi-Fi available in the campus. The college also provides scholarships. Infrastructure is excellent and the campus culture is also very good. A library is provided for the students which has ACs and Wi-Fi. Many medical facilities including checkup and medicines are provided free of cost. Good quality food is also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are well qualified and knowledgeable. Those students who are present in the class and attend regular classes along with completing all the given tasks clear the semester exams easily. The passing percentage is high.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to earn early and this course’s duration was 3 years. Expected salary in this course is also good. In campus, many fest, events, scholarships and meet-ups with ex students are conducted.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus and faculty.
Placements: Approximately 50 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are LnT, Birla and a few more small companies that need freshers at a lower salary. All the students get internships on the basis of their performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The department is built in a very unique and stylish manner. The classrooms are good and the library is also available for the students. The hostel is also very good, with all the facilities like a mess and Wi-Fi also available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified in their respective fields. All of them are very good-natured, supportive of the students and help us in every situation. The difficult level of exams is very tough. If you are a good student, only then can you achieve a good percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I always want to become a civil engineer and the best thing about this course is that you can directly get a job after it. The scholarships are available for the students, and the campus connects us to the whole city.
