A good review for CSE in AI and CSE from ZHCET (Aligarh muslim university).
Placements: The placement of the AMU ZHCET is good. Very good and famous companies visit the campus, like Samsung, Ciena, Paytm, Wipro, TCS, L&T, and many more. In 2022, the highest package offered was 1.23cr, and in 2023, the highest one was 22 lakhs. The average of CSE and CSE in AI is 11 lakhs, and 90% of students from my branch get good jobs and posts like web developer or AI engineer posts are offered.
Infrastructure: CSE and CSE in AI have their own building on the campus, and overall all the facilities are provided, like Wi-Fi labs. There is a special classroom which we call a smart classroom, and there is a specific library of ZHCET which has lots of space and all the books are available. The hostel of AMU ZHCET is just wow and beautiful. The mess is good, and the food of the mess is also good compared to other colleges. All sports are available.
Faculty: The faculty of CSE and CSE in AI is very good. They have good knowledge of their branch, and most faculty have completed their Ph.D. The curriculum is quite good, and they take 3 exams in each semester: 2 are called mid-sem, and 1 is end-sem. The pass percentage is 95%. Exam papers are a little bit tough.

M.Tech. in Civil Engineering (Earthquake Engineering & Disaster Management) - Batch of 2025

Really good infrastructure and facilities as library, sports, etc.
Placements: I'm pursuing M.Tech at A.M.U. My branch is Civil Engineering (specialization in Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Management). I enrolled in this course in the 2023 batch. The percentage of students placed in this course is above 80%. In my course, the highest package of campus placement is around 12 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 5.5 Lacs per annum. The top companies coming for campus selection are L&T, Tata Construction, DLF, Birla, etc. 29% of students get internships in the government sector, like the railway, PWD, BHEL, etc. Many Structural Engineering posts and disaster management roles, such as earthquake-resistant buildings and bridges for disaster prevention.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Structural lab Dynamic lab Earthquake engineering shock lab CAD lab and Software labs like ETABS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, LS Dyna, MATLAB, SAP2000, etc. Maulana Azad library and book bank specifically for the engineering faculty in my department. Seminar rooms are provided for reading, and reading rooms are also available in the hostel. Free Wi-Fi on campus without any limitations. Free access to research papers and all types of publications. Dining facilities for food in the hostel and also a canteen for food if you are not a hosteler. All types of sports are available, including cricket, football, hockey, skating, volleyball, basketball, swimming, and horse riding. Gym facilities for all students, either in the hostel or the main gym. NCC and NSS. The hostel fee is nil; only dining fees are paid for food, which is 1500/- per month for three meals a day.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. All teachers have Ph.Ds. in our field and are highly knowledgeable. Every professor is helpful to students. Every classroom is fully air-conditioned, and smartboards are present. This course is very good for industrial and structural purposes. The semester exams in my college are tough. If you don’t study throughout the semester, you will have a chance of failing. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work abroad in earthquake-resistant design. In the past, earthquakes were not considered in building or bridge design, but nowadays, the effects of earthquakes are increasing day by day. My college also provides a GATE scholarship of 12,400/- per month for students with a valid GATE scorecard.

All colleges are good, but this is the best for me.
Placements: 20% student getting placed on campus every year. 20000 is the highest package and 5LPA is the average placement. Top companies offer to students. 35 percent student got an internship in my course in Lenskart.com and Realme companies. Senior advisory and manager roles are offered by the company.
Infrastructure: Most of the facilities provided by college such as good Wi-Fi network, air-conditioned library. Good faculty of lab and provide instruments. Hostel have cooler and also provided good food such as biryani and paneer. Cricket game is playing and health centre open in the university.
Faculty: Most of teachers graduate from IIT Delhi and IIT Madras. Teaching quality is yes, it's relevant also students make the industry globally. Difficult to pass the exam because paper level is so high and hard checking by faculty members. 35 percent required for passing.
Other: I choose this course because I am not getting in other college.

B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The college is quite good and it's ranked number one in return of investment.
Placements: In my course, which is B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, around 60% of students who were qualifying the benchmark of required CGPA were placed. And the highest packages were around 12 LPA. The average was 5 LPA, and the least package was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our courses are TCS and Infosys. Since no official data is available for internships, as far as I know, many students got internships. There are several roles offered to the students of my course, including senior engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a wide range of facilities, like Wi-Fi, the smart classes, and of course the great library Maulana Azad. Books are available at any time. The infrastructure—we cannot compare it with IITs, but it's above average. New facilities are incorporated in the classrooms, like the smart board and the projectors. Talking about hostels, I like heaven; greenery is everywhere; lots of space is available to play football and cricket; and many indoor games are also incorporated in the common room of the hostel. The staff are very cooperative, and general services like electricians and plumbers are always available on our one call. There is enough space in the room, and the quality of the food is quite good. They provide free meals per day at a quite minimal price, and the university students are provided a free medical checkup and dedication by the university. There is a large hospital called Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where our checkups are free, and we can get free medicine from the university health center.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful. They are well qualified and quite knowledgeable. They make us so comfortable that we can ask any doubt anywhere. Either in the chamber or in the classroom. They also encourage us to ask doubts everywhere we can spot them. Since the curriculum is old, we do not find it relevant as per today's need. But the teachers also encourage us to get involved in many online courses to upskill our knowledge and skills. Of course, the curriculum is not industry-ready. But yes, many improvements are implemented every day. And I hope in a few years the syllabus could be industry-relevant. The semester exams in our colleges are difficult for those who do not study obviously. But unique questions are made by the professors. They are quite challenging and thought-provoking. But yes, one who has done classes does not find them difficult. But with little effort, they can crack the questions. The pass percentage is around 70%.

okayish infrastructure and placements but good value for money.
Placements: The placements of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology are okayishh types. Mostly students tend to seek off campus jobs as they get a better opportunity there than the one they get in college. Companies also recruit some top students at a very good package from the college only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology is okayish. It is not that good but there is greenery everywhere so you don't feel suffocated. The buildings are kind of old but the classrooms labs and libraries are built nicely.
Faculty: Faculty of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology is nice. Some teachers are very nice and teach and explain very well. Some are not able to convey their message that nicely otherwise curriculums and pattern of examinations are good. Difficulty level is also medium.

Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology FAQs

Q:   How many students can do a BArch at ZHCET?

A:

There are about 24 students that can enroll at Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology (ZHCET) to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree. Here's how we can get to that determination:

Restricted Information: Regretfully, the precise intake for the B.Arch programme may not be stated clearly on ZHCET's website or in official publications.

Standard admission for B.Arch programs: In India, B.Arch programs are generally governed by the Council of Architecture (CoA), which also establishes a standard admission cap for each college. Usually, the cap is between 20 and 40 pupils.

With these things taken into account, it's reasonable to anticipate that ZHCET accepts about 24 students for its B.Arch program.

You can perform the following to get confirmation:

Official Website: Look for any mention of the B.Arch programme admission on the most recent ZHCET website or brochures.

Q:   How can students check the ZHCET cutoff?

A:

Unfortunately, ZHCET doesn't publish official cutoff scores for each programme and entrance exam combination. This makes it impossible to predict your chances based solely on a particular score.

However, you can explore these options to get a sense of competition:

1. Previous Year Placement Reports: ZHCET's website might feature placement reports with information on the average entrance exam scores of admitted students for specific programs. While not exact cutoffs, this can give you an idea of the competition level.

2. University Contact: Reach out to ZHCET's admissions office or placement cell directly. They might provide unofficial insights or trends regarding entrance exam scores of admitted students, though they won't disclose official cutoffs.

3. Online Forums and Communities: Look for online communities or forums where ZHCET aspirants or alumni discuss admissions. While the information gathered here might not be official, it could offer anecdotal evidence about previous score ranges for admitted students.

Remember, these methods offer only estimates and shouldn't be considered definitive. Focus on performing your best in the relevant entrance exams to maximize your chances of admission to ZHCET.
