    Excellent college, staffs.
Placements: Approximately 40% of students apply for placements, while the others go for higher studies in our passing out batch. The average package is 2 lakhs per year, and the top roles in our course allow us to apply for many jobs in allied sectors of agriculture. For higher studies, we can get admission in foreign countries, and the government provides scholarships for these studies.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are modern, with one regional library and one library available for students. Each department has separate labs for practical work, covering areas like GPB, Pathology, Soil Science, etc. All departments have good infrastructure.
Faculty: The HOD, associate professors, and assistant professors teach students. All teachers have cleared the NET examination. The level of semester exams is hard, and the passing CGPA is 5 for these exams. Teachers use LED presentations and PPTs for lectures and also give opportunities for students to present.
Other: I belong to a farming community and have knowledge about the agriculture sector. I took the ICAR entrance exam to pursue this course. Regular theory and practical classes are positive aspects of our college. For ICAR students, NTA provides an 18,000 scholarship per semester. Annual day, agrifest, debates, and cultural days are organized by our college.

College of agriculture: Are these agriculture courses worth pursuing?
Placements: 25% only, and most students are thinking of pursuing an M.Sc. further or starting their own business. I would also like to mention that those interested in private jobs have some options. Every year, 3 or 4 companies come for placements, and the average package is 2 L per annum. You can easily get a private job.
Infrastructure: In college, Wi-Fi, classrooms, libraries, and laboratories for each department are available, along with fields for practical exposure. The hostel is good, and in one room, 3 students are allotted. The infrastructure of the mess is good, and the quality of food there is also satisfactory.
Faculty: The faculty is good, as every department has two faculty members working efficiently. We follow the 5th Dean committee, and the course curriculum is good and relevant to agriculture, but it is not applicable in real-life farming situations. Farmers are far ahead of these theoretical courses.
