Exams were quite okay, the syllabus was good and it was much focused on IT subjects. The good thing about exam pattern was that it was yearly exam system, as it is very difficult to go for semester exam if you are working. I joined it as meanwhile I was also working in Tech Mahindra.
College campus is average but the location is awesome, surrounded by beaches and greenery. Local people are very supportive and you'll find a very wide range of food. And about the studies, it has got the best labs, equipment and faculty members as well, which is very important for an engineer, especially who is opting for mechanical engineering.
The campus of Annamalai University is very large and wide with impressive academic buildings. Classes at AU are interactive in nature but sometimes feels bored due to lengthy lectures, both internal and external exams held on time in entire course duration. Campus life is slow in terms of extracurricular activities. Placement department need to be look after seriously.
Great place to study and get good marks but not a great place for growing your knowledge. Now you understand what kind of college it is. Girls are safe in this college. So it is a nice place for them. They need to improve campus placement and avoid allowing duplicate companies
Placements: About 75% students has joined in my course. The highest pack offered is about 20k and the lowest is 10k. There is no much top recruitment companies in this university. About 25% students only gone through internship. IT developed is the most offered in my course.
Placements: Top companies won't visit our college to recruit students. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. Placements depend on your performance. Small companies visit our college to recruit students. Placements are not good in our college.
Placements: Now more number of students got placed in our university as everybody is focusing on that. And the highest package offered by the companies is 4.5LPA and the lowest is 2LPA. Roles offered are data analyst, business analyst etc. and they are concentrating more on sales division.
Placements: Around 2% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. In this college, no top companies visit to hire students. There were no internships, and I would rate it 1 for placements.
Placements: 1) Our course isn't about placements like engineering 2) 2lahks, 1lakh and 30,000 is the salary offered. 3) No recruiting companies. We join either government or private hospitals. 4) Assisting surgeon is the top role offered after we complete the course. 5) The questions are for engineering and doesn't apply here.
Other: After completing my Engineering degree and came Bangalore looking for job i am interested in networking field i have joined CCNA R&S course in IIHT btm layout i came to know the real router and switches i have a chance to work and experiment the things.
Placements: My seniors, three of them got selected in a company which is in Mysore, but only one of them is working in that company. In this year, there is no company visited our college. There was a job fair, which took place in my college this year and also the previous year. In that, my classmates got selected.
Placements: The total criteria of placements is upto your aptitude, caliber and performances. College is not providing any placements. You have to search your job by yourself if you have completed the course successfully. College is taking money against placements. No campus selection is done in the college. Placement is zero percent.
