Placements: Our college gave placement only to the top 20 students- the students who passed with a high percentage in their class. Nowadays, an examination is held by different companies for the job. Many shipping companies like Marsek, MSC, Cosco, etc. hired the students.

Placements: As it is a government university, the placement is fine. 40% of my batch and from senior batch got placed. The maximum salary is 50000 and the minimum is 10000. HCL, Wipro, Samsung, Infotech and major companies visited. I got an off-campus placement in Bangalore itself. If you work hard and you will get the placement. Placements in this university are hard to get.

Placements: In our batch, there was no campus placement. No company visited in our college but whoever passed out got a job immediately after leaving the college in MNCs. All of us are getting good salaries. Very few chances are there to be selected on campus because a very few companies visit there.

Placements: The management will announce a job mela so that interested students can apply. Mostly, the students reject it in our batch so only 20% students applied to the job mela. In that, everyone will get job for sure because only small marketing companies will come for the placements and the salary offered will be Rs 8,000-10,000. Students selected in the campus interview were offered the job of Marketing Executive. Our batch students did not do any internship.

Placements: The placement was average for the civil engineering department. Although the placement was much better for other branches like CST, ETC and electrical, the total companies that have visited the campus are 56 including companies like Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Wipro and TCS. The students are offered various technical and managerial jobs.

Placements: The placement was not good as compared to the other colleges as only 25% students were placed. The highest salary offered was 5 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 1.5 lakhs. The names of the companies which visited were NLC, HCL, Microtech etc. Site Engineer was the post they offered, and only 15% of students got the internship from college. The highest stipend offered was 3 lakh, the lowest was 50,000 and the average was 1.5 lakhs.

Placements: Placement was nil in my university for B.E. mechanical engineering. I was expecting placements for at least 10% of the mechanical engineering students but in the end, it was disastrous when no student got the placement because not a single company came to offer a job in my college.

Placements: We were promised placements by the college but were not provided any of the placements. College prospectus says that the college has link with 21 companies but none of those hire students from this college. I belonged to the 5th batch that has passed out of the college and not even a single students has got a job through college.

Placements: Only a few students were placed in my batch- 3 or 4. The highest salary offered was near about Rs. 7 lacs and the lowest was Rs. 2.50 lacs per annum. In mechanical only few companies came like Huawei, Tata, TCS, SPIC, HCL, TCS etc. There is no stipend offer by college. In placement field, college is not much good. But studies are good. And the most important thing is that the lab is very good.

The teaching format of teachers are good enough. The departments of each faculty is very strict that means the student should be in discipline. Students should have to attend the class at least 75%. Harassments to girl is strictly prohibited and if someone caught in such activities he is definitely suspended for at least 20days. There is 2review exams within the semester which gifts 25marks. This is a good University with very good infrastructure. But you may face problem if you don't know Tamil but don't worry they understand English also. The library is not 24/7 but a nice well maintained computerized one with a great collection of books and need some book to replace old one with new edition.
