Cvsr college of engineering.

Placements: They say that the placements are in huge number but in reality very few of them gets call letter. The college is accredited with TCS but it too has too many less placements. And the mock interview is the worst thing which is done by MBA students of the same college without minimum knowledge.

The college is average because, in every field, there is nothing perfect.

Placements: The placements can be rare because in our college the maximum companies are software background. There are no mechanical companies except 1 or 2, and those also select a few people only. There are companies, which hire in an interview, but there is no call letter to students after an interview, and there are many incidents. The better option is to apply and get jobs privately, but not in on-campus.

The placements and the infrastructure of the college are good.

Placements: The placements are great as they give the best-paid placements possible. The companies like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and IBM give more than a hundred placements to the students, and the other small-scale companies also come for placements. We have a placement training centre, where we get training before the placement so that we can perform best in the placement drive. We also got the CRT training with the best faculty possible, and that is called campus recruitment training. Also, we learned a...

Good infrastructure and facilities, absolutely dissatisfied with faculty.

Placements: Maximum number of students were placed giving an average of 253 students in IBM and 113 in Capgemini. The salary starts from the lowest of 1.7 Lacs annually to the highest of 5 Lacs. Companies like IBM, Capgemini, Amazon, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra and many more. There is no internship from college. The placement cell trains the students for the interview.

Good infrastructure but very bad faculty and naive classmates.

Placements: A good number of students were placed from my college. The highest package last year was around 4.5 lakhs per annum which is considerably less compared to what other college students get. The average salary is around 2 lakhs per annum. The companies that visit the campus are Infosys, TCS, Accenture and HCL.

Dissatisfied with the placements and faculty.

Placements: The placements are worst in the college. The college brings 3 software companies, and there are no mechanical placements in the college. They don't bring the placements to the college and telling lies to the student. The college was worst, and the companies recruit 2-3 students only.

ANURAAG Group of Institutions(Formerly CVSR) offer an engineering course which is more of bookish, with less exposure to practical studies except the labs that are mandatory. Faculty members are not well trained and hardly inspire, motivate any student. Curricular activities are not given major preferences. Overall holistic growth doesn't happen here.Placements were good for 2011 batch.Alumni meets do happen now. College has developed a lot infrastructure wise, but It would be better if there are ...

It is good to join, but you have to gain knowledge on your own, then only you become industry-ready.

Placements: May be around 50% of the students from our course got placed. The basic salary package offered to all students was 3.3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The average salary package offered to most of the students varies from 4.5 LPA-6 LPA. May be around 30% of the students from our course got internships.

Overall it is not satisfactory to do my graduation in a mechanical stream in this college.

Placements: Placement for mechanical was not up to the mark in the college. Especially when coming to core fields, the college not provided the best companies. Being a mechanical student, it is not satisfactory to do in non-core companies. Students are not allowed freely to express their views. There is no stipend provided during an internship.

Not satisfied by the placements, it is the worst case.

Placements: There were no proper placements in the college. There are placements only for CSE department and none for others. Civil is the worst course here. The college lies that they are providing full placements to all the core department, but none have seen yet. There is a very bad placements facility. There is no use of placement department also in the college.
