I am very satisfied because of faculty. The placements, infrastructure and facilities really good.
Placements: Placements have been pretty great this year, We asked some of our seniors about the placements and they told us that the almost everyone got placed on campus. Top recruiting companies this year. Accenture recruited about 200 students while many other companies also recruited many of the students. The infrastructure of the college is really impressive. Everything is good and well-managed. Many facilities are provided within the campus so that we don't have to go outside the campus. There is almost everything a college student could ask for within the campus, whether it's related to academics, sports, food or fun. Faculty : Some of the faculty members of the college are good, and some are not. Most of the faculty members teach very well. They take care of the students' comfort zone. They use good teaching techniques so that the students can understand the concepts easily. They also provide industrial exposure.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, AUS is one of the best colleges in the country matching international standards. It is one of the First colleges in the University of Arunachal Pradesh which has upgraded its classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. The College has centrally air conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, library, a state-of-the-art seminar room and a fully equipped auditorium with seating capacity of over 750 persons. The College takes pride in being a differently-able friendly campus with new ramps, lifts and special washrooms added to the building. Also, the College has various facilities to address the reading, hearing and understanding requirements of various students.
Faculty: There are two compelling reasons to monitor course level and course numbering for rigor: first, the curriculum of the college needs to meet standards on collegiate level courses of our accrediting agency, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities; and second, the State Board of Education requires the college to comply with administrative rules to ensure appropriate course numbers have been assigned. Courses with transfer prefixes and numbers at the 100-level and above must conform to state standards for "Lower Division Collegiate" courses. Transfer courses must offer content "present or acceptable in the first two years of instruction in (Oregon public) four-year higher education institutions, " or be "designed to assure satisfactory articulation and transferability to four-year institutions.
Other: Our professional Masters programmes are designed to prepare you for the workplace and help you stand out in a competitive job market. You will graduate with a strong portfolio of knowledge and skills that can be applied across a number of different industries. There is a focus on professional development throughout the programme, including career planning. Students receive support from a dedicated careers service. Our Business Masters programmes are delivered in quarters. There are four ten-week quarters per year, with a two-week break between each quarter. During the first two quarters of all programmes, students study core business courses in management, quantitative analysis, economics and financial reporting, to gain a solid grounding in business before continuing on to a set of courses in their chosen specialisation. Students have the flexibility to change between specialisations before the start of the third quarter. All classes are scheduled Monday to Friday between 8am and 6.30pm and you are expected to be available to attend sessions during these hours. There are typically 16-18 hours of classes per week. Secure tests are held in the evenings and dates and times advised at the start of each quarter. This is an intensive programme requiring a full-time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week, including class contact hours, assignments, team-based projects and private study. A part-time study option is not available. All our Business Masters degrees are pre-experience coursework programmes. This means that applicants require little or no work experience to gain entrance into these programmes.
