The best experience of your life is college.
Placements: About 70% of students at this college get internships. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience while they are still in school.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are excellent. The library has a wide range of books and periodicals on all subjects. The canteen serves breakfast and lunch, and the sports area has facilities for a variety of games, including kabaddi, cricket, and basketball.
Faculty: The curriculum for this course is good. It's very practical, and there are a lot of opportunities to apply what you're learning. Each term has three exams: CIA 1, CIA 2, and SEE. The course is taught using projectors, and there are labs where students can do practical exercises and get feedback on their mistakes.
Other: I think the campus is great, but there are some rules and regulations that could be changed. For example, boys and girls are not allowed to sit together. If I had the opportunity, I would change these rules.

Satisfied with the faculty members and infrastructure .
Placements: Around 40 percent of students got placement in the campus interview. The highest package offered is 2.8 LPA, and the lowest offered was 1.2 LPA in the campus interview. Companies like Ola, Pizza Hut, and other local IT companies are coming for campus interviews. The roles that they are offering are web development, error finding, and web improvement.
Infrastructure: Classrooms contain projectors and all the arrangements for study. Computer labs are well-equipped. The library contains all the required study material and is also equipped with central AC. The hostel facility is quite good; the rooms are well-spaced, and the food available in the mess is good and healthy. The physical activities like wellness centers contain gyms, yoga, and zumba. The facilities provided are quite good.
Faculty: The faculty members are quite helpful, being study-related and also for personal problems, and also have good knowledge. The course curriculum is quite relevant to the industrial meet, and also the practice doing in labs is met the industry parameters. The semester exam is quite not difficult if the exam is sometimes tough, but around 80 percent of students got passed from the first attempt.
Other: I chose this course because I like working on laptops and am also interested in coding, and the best thing about this course is that there is no limit on how you progress in the field, so that's why I chose this course. The thing that I want to improve on the campus is the curriculum for computer labs, which is not suitable for this course.

Atmiya College Review, It's Not So Good.
Placements: We are the batch of 2023. Our course is Bachelor in Computer Applications. We get more practical knowledge in the field of computer and coding. Though not much recruitment takes place from our college as our knowledge is based only on the books, and we cannot do anything if we want to do it on our own.
Infrastructure: There is no doubt about our college infrastructure. The classrooms, the labs, and mainly our library are nice. Our college library has three floors with books related to each and every subject. Also, our college provides facilities for disabled people.
Faculty: It is very sad to say that our college faculty and curriculum are not up to the mark. The faculty are not interested in teaching the students. They only teach students how to mug up and pass the exam. Also, the subjects are not very good.

Average Placements & Faculty Members, Outdated Curriculum, Good Infrastructure.
Placements: Placement offers in BCA Department are pretty average. I think below 50% of students are being placed from the campus because most of the students want to go for either higher studies or off-campus. The highest package would be around 4 Lacs. The average package is around 3 Lacs. Top recruiters are Infinity and other local companies. Students have to do an internship in the 5th semester, which they would have to find by themselves. Top roles offered in BCA are Software Developer, Web Developer, Web Designer, App Development, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are pretty good. Wi-Fi is available across the whole campus. Computer labs are average but sufficient for development and other curriculum activities. Classrooms are pretty huge and well-lit. The best resource that you can use is the library at Atmiya. The library has 3 floors, including a reading room. The library offers an e-library section with lots of computers available for you from morning to evening.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, some are not. You can find a teacher who is fully dedicated to their job and loves the thing they teach. They are Ph.D. scholars and are absolutely fantastic in their job. But you can also find teachers who just want to pass the lecture and don't like their own subject. The course curriculum of the BCA 2023-26 batch is not relevant at all. I have seen the curriculum of other colleges in Rajkot, and they are much more advanced than Atmiya. The semester exams are not difficult. If you pay attention in the lectures, you would easily get around a 7-8 GPA. One more thing, 80% attendance is mandatory for each semester.

Q:   What are the cutoff marks required for B.Tech?

A:

To secure admission to B.Tech programs, the cutoff marks can vary based on the category and the institution you are targeting. Here are some general guidelines to give you an idea of the cutoff marks for B.Tech:

1. *General Category:*
   - A minimum of 50% in the 10+2 or equivalent examination is usually required for candidates in the general category.

2. *IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology):*
   - For IITs, the cutoff marks are relatively higher:
      - 66-68% for the general category
      - 65-66% for OBC
      - 63% for SC
      - 62.5% for ST

3. *NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs:*
   - These institutions typically require a minimum of 75% in the class 12 examination for general category candidates.
   - There is a relaxation for SC/ST candidates, with a requirement of 65%.

4. *JEE Mains 2023:*
   - The JEE Mains cutoff marks for 2023 are as follows:
      - General category: 89.75
      - General (EWS category): 78.21
      - OBC-NCL: 74.31
      - SC: 54
      - ST: 44

It's important to note that these figures are indicative, and the actual qualifying cutoff may vary each year. The cutoff marks are usually released along with the JEE Main result announcement on the official website.

To improve your chances of admission, it's advisable to aim for a score above the cutoff marks and to keep an eye on the official announcements from the examination authorities. Additionally, you may want to consider the specific cutoff requirements of the institutions you are interested in to tailor your preparation accordingly.

Q:   Is Atmiya University Tier 1 or Tier 2?

A:

According to my knowledge and what I searched until now, Atmiya University is a leading college in Tier 2 college. It has a world rank of 12205 and a country rank of around 850 but this college will soon improve because it started around 6 years ago in 2018 and it has high potential to grow and have high chances to become a Tier 1 college soon.

Q:   What will happen if someone misses the internal exams at Atmiya University?

A:

According to the Atmiya University academic calendar, students who miss an internal exam will receive a 0 for that exam. However, students may be able to request a makeup exam if they have a valid reason for missing the original exam. Valid reasons may include:

* Illness or medical emergency

* Family emergency

* Religious holiday

* College-sponsored activity

* Other extenuating circumstances

Students who request a makeup exam must submit a written request to their professor within 24 hours of the missed exam. The professor will then review the request and decide whether to grant the makeup exam.

If a student is granted a makeup exam, they will be given a different date and time to take the exam. The makeup exam will be graded separately from the original exam, and the student's final grade will be based on the average of their two scores.

It is important to note that students who miss an internal exam without a valid reason will not be granted a makeup exam. They will receive a 0 for that exam, and their overall grade in the course may suffer as a result.

Here are some additional tips for students who are concerned about missing an internal exam:

* Plan ahead and make sure you know where and when your exams are scheduled.

* Allow plenty of time to travel to and from your exams.

* If you are feeling ill or have a family emergency, contact your professor as soon as possible to let them know.

* Be prepared to provide documentation to support your request for a makeup exam.

* If you are granted a makeup exam, make sure you arrive on time and are prepared to take the exam.

By following these tips, you can help minimize the risk of missing an internal exam and the consequences that may follow.
