Avantika University BDes admission is based on performance of candidates in any one of the following entrance examinations namely, Design Scholarship Test (DST)/ MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT)/ UCEED/ NID-DAT/ NIFT.

Avantika University BDes fees comprises various components such as tuition fees, hostel fees and one-time admission fees. Candidates who get admission to the BDes programme at one of the affiliated colleges of Avantika University Ujjain are required to pay a one-time admission fee of INR 10,000. Avantika University BDes admissions 2024 is a multi-stage process. Given below is the admission process for BDes programme offered at Avantika University: 

STEP 1: Visit Avantika University website and register for new admission by clicking on the 'Apply Now' tab. Candidates must provide personal, guardian, educational and other details in the registration form, upload the documents and pay the application fees.

STEP 2: Appear for the Design Scholarship Test/ MIT Design Aptitude Test/ UCEED/ NID-DAT/ NIFT followed by online Thinking Challenge and PI (online or offline mode). 

STEP 3: Based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam and Personal Interview, the University offers admission to the selected candidates who must accept the admission offer.

STEP 4: The final step of admission is the confirmation and enrollment stage. Once candidate's admission is confirmed, an enrollment form is shared which must be filled and submitted by visiting the concerned college where BDes admission has been sought and submit the hard copy of the enrollment form along with all the documents.

Candidates must carry at least two sets of attested copies along with the original ones of the following documents mentioned below during the time of admission to the BDes programme offered by Avantika University:

• Class 12 marksheet
• Identity proof
• School leaving certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photographs
• Medical fitness certificate
• Domicile certificate for MP students (applicable in case of State Government scholarship)

To get admission to the BDes programme offered at Avantika University, the candidate must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate with English proficiency & cleared the MITID DAT exam.

Avantika University admissions are entirely entrance-based and/ or based on performance of candidates in the Personal Inteview. Any of the affiliated colleges or institutes of Avantika University does not offer direct admission in any of the programmes offered at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

The minimum Avantika University admission criteria is that candidates must have to appear for a Personal Interview round. Candidates might also have to appear for both the entrance exam as well as the Personal Interview for admission to some Avantika University courses.  

The B.Des course provided by Avantika University is considered one of the best design courses in India. Candidates seeking admission into the B.Des course must have to complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks as an aggregate

Bachelor of Design (B.Des) is a full-time 4-year undergraduate program. Avantika University offers B.Des in five specializations namely: Graphic Design, Product Design, User Experience Design Interaction Design, Fashion Designing, Space Design

Avantika University offers BTech Computer Science Engineering programme in six different specialisations at the undergraduate level. These specialisations include Full Stack Development, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Interaction Design.

Avantika University offers scholarships based on merit, need and means. The scholarship schemes at the university include tuition fee waivers and stipends offered to meritorious, needy and deserving students. The scholarships at Avantika University not only favour the academically gifted but also support students from a sports background and students from economically backward families. The university offers tuition fee waivers of up to 100% and a maximum stipend of INR 12,000 per month

Ved Vyas Scholarship – It is a merit-based scholarship offered to those who have secured any of the top three positions in State/ CBSE/ ISC boards. Furthermore, the students are also required to write the JEE (Mains) exam. The scholarships will be awarded based on the scores. Vikram Scholarship – A merit-cum-means scholarship for students who have secured at least 90% aggregate (in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined) or 80% aggregate (in Arts/ Commerce) in their respective board exams. The scholarship will be determined on the annual income of the family

3. Arjun Scholarship – It is a sports scholarship available to those who have participated and won awards in national/ international sports events recognised by Indian Olympic Council

6. Ashoka Scholarship – It is a merit-based scholarship scheme, awarded to students who display extraordinary academic performance along with excellence in various other activities. Interested candidates are required to submit separate applications for this (at the end of every semester)
