All about Bahra University.

Placements: The highest package is like 21 LPA but the average package is too bad. In this year, 2024, no one got any type of placement. Though the college authority claims that the placement is too good here, it's completely wrong. Companies like TCS, and Wipro don't come here for placement. Some startups came here but didn't take any students.

Very much dissatisfied. Please do a good research before choosing a college.

Placements: At our university, the highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, the average salary package offered was 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Majority of the recruiting companies are startups and mid-range companies. Internships are not offered, instead, they offer courses to purchase. The top roles available include Web Development—Backend, Frontend, and Full Stack.

This college doesn't meet students expectations.

Placements: This university is not that good for the engineering course, but it is great for management courses. The highest salary package offered for the mechanical engineering branch students is around 2 LPA. At least 8 CGPA is required to get better placements. They don't provide industrial training for students in the last year of engineering.

The experience of the college was not very bad, as I got the degree at last which is valid.

Placements: There was a very less number of companies which came for the placement drive. Most of the companies are IT based. There was not a single company for civil and mechanical. The percentage of the students placed from civil was 2-5 %. The salary package was between Rs.8,000-Rs.12,000 for a site engineer. In It, the department students got the package of Rs.15,000-Rs.20,000. There was a placement cell in the college which was not that useful for us where they were more focusing on IT sector jobs.

College with low standard.

Placements: Placements are not good. Most of the students are placed for technical support jobs. Some are just doing the internship. Highest package offered this year was 3 LPA. The lowest package was 1.4 LPA. They show that our seniors were placed, but most of them didn't get the offer letter. Few have some joining issues. For few students, the company they got selected was not good. This year, from MCA, two students were placed, in that one student just got selected for the internship.

My collage life is good. With studies, I enjoyed a lot and my CGPA is among the top five students.

Placements: Placement of the students is low and the companies which are coming for placement offer low salary packages. But there is a very good scope of placement in hospitality management. The average salary package is almost Rs. 18000 pm and I don't think it is good enough if the student is placed far from his home town. Companies which come for placements are Mahindra, Reliance, banks and some clothing companies like Tommy, etc. According to my knowledge, none of the students is placed for an internshi...

Bahra University- Makes you learn well. But don't give enough opprtunity to use that knowledge.

Placements: Placements in this university are almost null. They only know how to lure students and make them dream big. In spite of being the topper of my batch with a CGPA of 10 on a scale of 10, what I got in the name of placements was nothing. By chance, if some C class IT companies visit there, that too for the whole Rayat Bahra Group, only minimal students get placed. For eg. toppers of respective branches get the package of 1.5- 2 lakh p.a. So, investing a huge amount of money in this university is j...

The University does not have good faculty, they don't take any lectures especially in the second year i.e. 3rd and 4th semester. The fee charged for hostels is also high, and the campus selections are just nominal and people get jobs with pay of 12 to 15000. Don’t have any good library for Management studies. They focus heavily on fee etc., Suggest not to join MBA, as my ward studied MBA and struggled a lot to get into a job.

University which can grow only after the inner politics ends

Placements: The placement is fine but needs to bring more and more companies...they need to use contacts but due to some inner politics among the management this whole procedure becomes a fake business just to show or advertisement for next year. there should be more recruitment programs as done in the same University of other areas.and the students should be made to interact more with the companies by seminar and projects.
