It is a good university and I like it.

Placements: Usually, maths students get placed after doing masters. The salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA -3 LPA. I don't have any idea about recruiting companies. Geophysicist gets proper placements. But as in the case of geologist, they have to pass through the entrances to get jobs.

Good faculty members but poor placements.

Placements: Placements are not offered by college and students have to look off-campus for placements. Although most of the students opt for higher studies after graduation and if one wants to get a job then the average salary offered is around 16000 to 18000 per month.

It is an average college with good faculty members and more focus on research.

Placements: Placements in our college are average and most students have to search for placements from outside. The average salary offered is around Rs. 16,000 per month. But students prefer to opt for higher studies so placement is not always an issue for most. But for those who want to get placed have to search for off-campus placements.

Our college is good with better infrastructure at an affordable price.

Placements: Few students directly get placed from this course. About 10-20% of the students from our course get placed. Some students continue their studies in the same streams to appear in the NET JRF and to pursue their PhD. Students mainly focus on preparing for the competitive exams and in civil services.

I am satisfied with the teachers. The college is value for money and has the best facilities.

Placements: I don't know much about placements, but nearly all students were offered placements. The average salary package offered in our course was 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was around 4.50 LPA.

If you are not thinking about placement then go for it.

Placements: Department does not call companies or other institutions for the campus placement. So if you are going to pursue the master degree in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University Institute of Science department of botany don't even think about the placement.

I was satisfied with the University but the only problem was placement and practical knowledge.

Placements: I was in a match 2013-16. There are very few chances of getting placed. Only companies related to banking and insurance companies come for the placement. There is no procedure for an internship. I was the member of the activity cell. I got a positive response from the companies from where I went for an interview.

Teachers are bad, but extracurricular, infrastructure and placements are very good.

Placements: As per the rule of TPO, the exact details are not known to any of the students. But I can give a rough idea about the placements. Most of the placements from the chemical branch are in the software sector as only some companies visit the campus for the core sector. Companies which recruit students for core jobs include Unilever (HUL), ITC, and PSU's, and the rest all companies are from software and finance and consulting. For non-core sector job, one has to be good at programming. Almost 80% of ...

Placements: Don't expect a placement after B.Com. Not only from this but any college in the country. You have to pursue further studies to get a good placement. Placement here are not provided for B.Com. Students. Although some companies do visit like Bajaj Allianz, TCS but that is just for sales profile or a call centre job.

BHU provides everything, which is required for the students.

Placements: I had chosen B. A. (Hons.) in Arts course. None of the universities in India provides placement for such courses. My stream was English, and there is no internship for this course. Companies don't hire students from this course as it is basically a subject which is to be taught in schools and colleges.
