Satisfied with my college

Placements: Several fertilizer companies and some NGOs provided job offers. Most of the students preferred higher education like MSc and MBA. Some preferred banking preparations. Some were selected for the post of A.O and some went into civil services line and prepared for UPSC and SSC examinations.

Our college is the best in every field. Here, you get your overall personality development.

Placements: The placement is good. It is very good in every aspect. The college will provide 100% placement to every individual, which is a plus point here. So this is the best platform from my point of view. The placement occurs at various banks and agricultural companies. Off-campus placements are also there.

Campus life is good, infrastructure is good but needs improvement and so does some of the facilities

Placements: Considering the overall placements (on-campus and off-campus) of our college, it is 100%. If we talk about on-campus placement, there are many companies that visit our college, with different profiles like coding, analyst, consultancy, travel, management etc. Also some of the core companies of mechanical, civil and electrical also offer jobs considering your GATE score. Also, some of the R&D companies mainly for applied branches (physics, chemistry, maths, biochem, biochem, material science). No...

College for the best ROI but compromise on everything else

Placements: Placements for the 2014 batch were better than the ones for the 2013 batch. Both private companies as well as public sector companies visited the campus. The placement percentage was 70%, the highest package was 9 lacs and the lowest package was 3.5 lacs. Companies like ICICI Bank, Coal India, Vizag Steel, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Writers, etc. visited. Mostly marketing, finance and HR roles were offered by the companies. Approximately 50% students got the internship from the college. ...

A good option in India for undergraduate studies.

Placements: No placement at graduation level for B.Sc courses. You can go for masters level education to get JRF or can get some internship on your own or with help of some faculty. But nothing at the graduation level, as it is a non-professional course. Some courses like agriculture, chemistry, and industrial microbiology have placements, but they too are not that regular. The highest placements were about 6 lakhs p.a. for chemistry. Mostly agro-based companies visit for the agriculture group. ...

Average infrastructure, faculty, and facilities.

Placements: The year in which we took admission, the placements were low. Eventually, it improved and for our batch, we got the best placements like the highest package was 2.04 crores from Oracle and 1.87 crores from Google. The average package was around 6-8 LPA and the roles were for both technical and non-technical. For an internship at HUL, only 3 students were selected from the whole batch.

It is always prestigious to become a part of this university, but students feel sad after exposure.

Placements: No doubt, there is a problem with placements here as neither our seniors nor our batch got any kind of interview at our own campus i.e. faculty of social sciences. And the main reason behind this is irresponsibility of our faculty members. Our placement coordinator can manage the interview at our venue but he never thinks like that. After completion of the course, we can do the functions of HR manager and personnel officer.

Placements: Placements of the senior batches were quite okay. More than 60% of the students were placed last year in numerous companies including core civil, IT, finance, Marketing, Political etc. Core Civil companies like L&T, Marvel realtors, Bose consultancy, Coal India, bechtel, NHAI, Vedanta, Tata Motors etc. Other companies (IT, finance etc) were generally open to all branches of the college. So if you are good in those subjects then you can easily get placed in those companies. Salary offered in cor...

It is a central university, has good position in India. Studies are fine but it should be more advanced because universities in India are just like mug up at the end of semesters and write it out in exams because we don't get much time to study properly and in India after graduation, it doesn't mean for any job like foreign countries. So it should be advanced with good career.

BHU is one of the best universities in India. Education system of BHU is rather unconventional and the 'non syllabus' discussions provide great scope of flowerishment to the students. Every staff and teacher is helpful and friendly but the administration should be run in more disciplined way. The campus is calm and serene. Beautiful place and atmosphere for study.

Average, decent and pockets friendly also.

Placements: BHU has a low placement rate for B.Com students, with significantly fewer job offers and lower salary packages compared to DU. Therefore, it is advisable to carefully consider your decision before taking admission here, as it is a crucial phase of life where making the right choice is essential.

Placements: The placements in my college are pretty decent, I would say. The percentage of students who got placed in my college mainly depends on the cutoff, their caste, and the number of students applying for the course. Companies like Deloitte, Byju, etc., visit the campus. As for the remaining questions, sorry, I don't have any correct knowledge.

Review of BHU - Banaras Hindu University.

Placements: There are no placements in our course. Doing M.A. in English is not going to assure you of any kind of job. You may find yourself helpless if you fail to qualify for NET or JRF. There could have been some better plans as far as placements for students are concerned.

Placements: All admissions will be completed in our college every year through a national-level entrance exam. The average salary offered to students here is around Rs. 72,000 per month, and recently it has been increased to Rs. 82,000 per month.
