BU Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The college only wants to charge thousands and lacs of rupees for training and placements, but they do not focus on the skills of students. Due to that, students do not get proper knowledge by which they can get the desired platform in life within four years. Students are very punctual in paying the fee. Otherwise, they will also charge penalty with surplus money. The college focuses on earnings only.

Placements: The placements offered were below average, and the salaries offered were even worse. I was from the mechanical branch, and the placements for our department were almost nil. Rest of the branches were able to receive some placement opportunities. However, the salary packages offered were not that good. I didn't join this college for campus placements.

Placements: Software companies only visit the campus for placements. There are no placement opportunities for the students of the core departments. Only 3 companies visited the campus to hire the students of the mechanical departments, and only 6 students were placed among all the students of the mechanical department. Students who belong to software departments easily get jobs with average salary packages of 3.4 LPA.

Placements: Ours is the best college in Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh. Every year, almost 80 to 90% of the students get placed. Our branch, ECE, is one of the best courses in this college. I live in the college hostel, so I like this college.

Placements: The college provided placement opportunities, but salary packages offered were very low ranged from 1.80 LPA to 2.40 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, MindTree and other small companies visited our campus for recruitment. One more important thing is that they have 4 colleges in the same group, so there will be a tough competition considering the ratio of students to the number of companies visiting the campus and vacancies.

Placements: Placements in our college are very poor. Very few companies come and recruit only a handful of students out of a single batch. Almost 95% of the students don't get placements from college. Although there is a placement committee in the college, there is still no actual improvement in the placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-25,000 per month. Mainly call centre companies approach our college for placements. The placement cell tries hard to attract good placements for college, and the graph for placement has been going up in the previous years. Overall, the placements are average.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Reputed companies such as TCS, etc., visited our college to offer placements but there are many loopholes in the whole placement process. T&P department doesn't care about average students. Their prime focus is to get bright students placed and get a promotion.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. Many companies visit the college but offer low packages. Sometimes, students go for off-campus drives. NRI provides good placements for mechanical students because this department has better teachers and facilities. I can't say that NRI Group of Institutions is the best in Bhopal, there are also some better and top-ranked colleges like LNCT, Oriental College, etc., which are good for mechanical and also other branches.

Placements: Placements for computer science and IT students are good, but they are in service-based companies like Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Product based companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. do not come to the college for placements. No core companies visit the campus for other branches like civil, mechanical and electrical, and if you want job anyhow, you'll end up working in an IT company which basically came for CSE students. Placements: The college provides a number of placements, and they might reach your expectations. The placements are only shown in papers. To be honest, the college life of students is ruined. The teachers are supportive, but they don't behave like being in a college, they do like in schools. The teachers are good, but they can't do much because of the upper management and authorities. The college is never recommended.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements, therefore, many students are left unemployed. The college doesn't provide practical knowledge and no experienced faculty are available. My personal experience in the college completely bad because all the faculty members are bad.

Placements: No company has come to the college related to our branch because the director thinks his future is more important than students'. No one takes the responsibility to provide campus placements. The placement cell in the college is not active.

Placements: TCS is the main recruiter of the college, but in the recent years, the count of the number of students recruited by TCS has been reduced. T&P cell of the college is very reluctant and casual in bringing MNCs to the campus. In the name of companies, they invite small non-technical companies for recruitments.

Placements: Our college has fewer placement records. Only marketing companies visit our college for placements with low packages. Our college is not suitable for CS and IT branches. The placement cell is not that flexible. Here, marketing companies visit and offer the role of an executive or to be in a call centre. Placements: College provides you with the opportunity to get placed; it is all up to you on how you want to utilise it. At my time only CS and IT companies came for placements, and I got a placement from pool campus. So give or take, it is all up to you. Try to get in touch with placement coordinator so that he remembers you for the placement season.

Placements: Placements were not so good. Only one to two students got placed, and 3 lacs per annum was the highest salary offered. The names of the company visited our college are Amazon, TCS, Mu Sigma, etc. Nobody got internships from our college. There is a placement cell, and it is quite good.

This college is only suitable for computer Science students. They have good placement records. So don't take admission here for core branches.

They hardly get the packages around Rs. 2,00,000 per annum. The college shows that big companies like Google and Apple participate in placements, but they don't.
