B.A. in Journalism, Psychology - Batch of 2024

I am satisfied with the humanities department.
Placements: Placements are only good for commerce, business, computer applications, and science batches. Top companies visit the college and hire students. For psychology, placements are very limited because most of the students go for higher studies. There are no placements for psychology which is very saddening. A few placements are available for journalism.
Infrastructure: We have equipped labs for psychology, which are helpful. However, for the journalism lab, the work is going on. But overall, it's worth it.
Faculty: Faculty members guide students well, so students do not worry about exams. Students need to study for exams. They clear the silliest doubts also, so it is easier to score well. They removed NEP, so it would be triple major. The major combination also changed. For psychology and journalism, there are the best faculty members. They are supportive and interactive.
Other: Our college conducts many activities. I got a merit scholarship for 3 years at UG. Our college provides scholarships. The campus crowd is average. Our college prioritizes extracurricular activities.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 70–80% of students got placements in our college. There are recruiters from top companies who offer very good packages. The number of companies visited was 107, and the placement percentage has increased to 80% recently. The highest package offered at Kristu Jayanti College was INR 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure, and the campus provides Wi-Fi, laboratories for various courses, canteens, computer labs, basketball courts, etc. The college also ensures a clean and green environment that adds to the ambience of the campus.
Faculty: The college faculty members are well-trained and educated with working experience. The team of faculty members ensures quality education for the students at KJC. They keep students engaged and conduct interactive classes. They do teach well and help students too.

Good infrastructure with new technologies now. Best faculty members.
Placements: My major was psychology, so for psychology, there were no placements but many other departments had placements in good companies but their concern was 2 years agreement. And for the internship,p we had to do an internship for 15 days but we had to search for internship places and compete.
Infrastructure: For psychology students, we had psychology labs where we had all the materials for our practicals and we had 2 libraries with lots of books and laptops that were provided with free Wi-Fi for students, and every classroom had a projector which was very useful for every single student to learn better. We have three canteens and they provide food with affordable prices. To tell you about the medical facility, we had a medical room and a resting room. For sports, we have teachers' sports and students' sports where all the teachers and students can take part.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and the way they teach is excellent, but some teachers are rude when students ask them doubts. Every professor makes sure they make PPTs to explain a topic so that students can learn and understand better. And for exams, we had two exams in one semester. Assignments and record book completion marks will be added in our semester mark sheet. Pass percentage 30 marks for 100.
Other: My major was psychology and journalism, I chose psychology because I wanted to become a psychologist, we learned about many disorders and many other things which is very interesting. To tell about events, kristu jayanti college conducts many events for every department and encourages students to participate and show their talents.

Review of Kristu Jayanti College.
Placements: This course doesn't offer any kind of placement. Our college provides internships by great media and newspaper agencies like TOI, Indian Express, All India Radio, Amnesty International, and Advertising Agencies. Our college provides internships in the election commission during elections.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is available in our college. According to me, PG is the better option. Hostels are strict. The food served in the hostel is not good. The food served in the canteen is good and expensive. There is a discount for KJC students at nearby restaurants. Our college has a well-equipped gymnasium. There is a clinic, which opens every Thursday.
Faculty: Our faculty members are passionate and qualified. They have unconventional ways of teaching. They make a friendly environment. Practical sessions and IV are part of the curriculum. Semester exams depend on students' preparation. Attendance and internal marks are big deal for passing exams. If you prioritise, these two then it will be easy to pass without any stress.
Other: I opted for this course because of my passion and interest in it. The quality of the course alone doesn't matter well-trained and passionate teachers are required. They should provide more placement opportunities. Unfortunately, only two universities in India offer placements for journalism. Our college is a great place to explore skills and talents with promising rewards and other privileges.

Quite a good college to study.
Placements: 90% were placed from our course. Placements depend on the opportunities provided. Ey, Tata, Amazon, etc. are the major recruiters. 95% students got internship from our course in Ey, Tata, Amazon, hospitals, sunshine, etc. Clinical and organizational psychologist are the positions given.
Infrastructure: The college is packed with a lot of facilities that never fail our expectations. All the hostels are provided with most of the facilities but there are no washing machines or proper Wi-Fi provided. There are blackouts happening all the time. As compared to PGs, hostel is quite bad.
Faculty: The faculty is quite excellent as they mostly have PhD faculty. The faculty helps students to be prepared ahead of time. Semester exams are a bit hard but worth it. 95% students pass in every semester but at times, there are students who fail in the semester exams and have to drop out from the college.
Other: I chose this course because it is my passion.

It is a nice college with lots of rules and regulations.
Placements: Around 65% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 6.5 LPA, the lowest package was 1.6 LPA, and the average package was around 3.3 LPA. Several companies participated in campus placements. Teachers also guided us during placements, and the overall experience was good.
Infrastructure: Computer labs are equipped with a good internet facility. The classrooms are well-maintained, and seating is also in a proper manner. The library is good with a good ambiance. There are libraries for different blocks. With running internet facility, the entire ambiance of college is good.
Faculty: The teachers are really knowledgeable, and they offer many curricular activities which involve both students and teachers together. The exams are tough enough, but also the passing percentage is good. There are also lots of penalties for being absent or not attending exams.
Other: The college fee is affordable and also offers various courses with different combinations. Getting admission is easy. The campus placements are good. There are lots of rules and regulations regarding uniforms, grooming etc.

Hey Manasa,
Certainly, even with four backlogs, you can still finish your B.S. at Bengaluru North University. Before applying to any colleges, though, you must complete all unfinished business. Checking the specific requirements for the course and university you're interested in is important because
