Honest Review of Bennett University.
Placements: The placements were decent, not extraordinary. Top recruiters were Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Mobikwik, etc. The top role offered was Data Analyst. The highest package offered was 1.37 crores, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average was 11 LPA. The percentage of students who got internships was around 40%. Companies in which they got internships were Microsoft, Paytm, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent, especially classrooms and labs, which are fully air-conditioned. The campus Wi-Fi is also okay, but sometimes there is a network issue. The library is spacious, and we can issue any book we want on our ID card. The quality of the hostel is also good, but the mess food is okay, not very good. The sports infrastructure is very nice, with many games played at our university. Medical facilities are also good, and there is always an ambulance on standby in case of an emergency situation.
Faculty: The faculty of our university is really supportive and has a lot of experience in teaching. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and have passed out from top IITs and NITs. They teach in English most of the time. The curriculum of the subject is updated every year and tries to make students industry-ready through various projects, workshops, and internships. The semester exams are not that tough; they are mostly within the syllabus covered by teachers in class, and the passing percentage is more than 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science. The best thing about my course is the curriculum and the faculty. I think the crowd in my course is too much, i.e., the student intake should be less. There are a lot of events and fests held throughout the year, like the biggest fest, Uphoria, which takes place in the month of March. Scholarships are also offered on a merit basis, like on the basis of Class 12th board marks and JEE Main.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Bennett University has good placement records in previous years. The placement cell of Bennet University does try to get all the students placed and also offers paid internships in the third year. Top companies like Adobe, Cisco, HCL, Deloitte, etc. Come for recruitment. The highest salary package of the 2023 batch was 1.37 crore per annum (off-campus). In B. Tech CSE (cloud computing specialisation) the average salary package offered is 7.99 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the university is commendable with continuous renovation. Classrooms are made for different categories and according to a particular strength of the students. Labs are well maintained with proper equipment and are evaluated regularly. There are 2 common and 1 law library. Wi-Fi is accessible within campus for students with unique ID and password for each. There are different facilities available like pharmacy shop for medicine and sports complex along with gym. Many spots for food and snacks are all around the campus along with 2 main canteens are hostel mess and paid mess.
Faculty: Course curriculum is updated from time to time making the syllabus up to industrial competition. Faculty members are reachable and lectures, tutorials, and labs are arranged as per the course. Semester consists of 2 exams mid-semester and end-semester. Mid-semester has no passing criteria but in end-semester. Student has to score minimum of 30% on the end-semester exam. Semester student has to score a minimum credit of 4 out of 10 to pass the semester.
Other: Many fests, events, and clubs are there in the university.

Mediocrity at its best, but not worth the money paid.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is much less than shown and advertised. According to me, hardly 40% of students get placed. The focused ones get a good salary package of 10 LPA. Internships do take place, but again students here are not very serious about it.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small. It is spread around 40 acres of land. It is not as big as advertised. Hostel rooms are triple sharing. There are 4 outlets for purchasing food. The Wi-Fi speed is bad. It is around 10 Mbps. There is just 1 shop on the campus for groceries.
Faculty: Teachers are very new in this field. They have around 1-2 years of experience. Exams are moderate. The course is relevant. The crowd is not into working a lot, so being in the top minority is not that hard.
Other: I got a CSE in this college, so I chose it. There are a lot of fests that take place. Around 4-5 fests are held every month. The quality of these fests is moderate. Almost everyone here gets a scholarship which is again a marketing gimmick according to me. You have to score above 8 CGPA to secure scholarships.

Bennett University review.
Placements: In my course, approximately 85% of students were placed, with the highest package being 20 LPA, the lowest 4 LPA, and the average package around 6 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, Deloitte, and TCS, and around 80% of students secured internships, with placements at companies like Infosys and Accenture for roles like software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The course department has well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern classrooms with smart boards, and a vast library with online resources. The hostel offers basic amenities with clean rooms, while the mess and canteen provide decent food, and medical facilities and sports amenities are available for student well-being.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and generally helpful, providing valuable insights through lectures and mentoring. The course curriculum is relevant, with a good balance of theory and practical skills, preparing students for industry roles. Semester exams are challenging but fair, and the pass percentage is around 90%, reflecting the overall academic rigor.
Other: It's a good college.

Don't fall for their marketing and advertisements; it's totally fake.
Placements: Placements at the college were overhyped. Something else was marketed and advertised, but the reality is hidden somewhere in the real placements of the college. A very small percentage of the students were placed, and most of them secured them through off-campus interviews. There were only two or three companies that came to our college, and most of the opportunities that were forwarded to us were public openings that were open to all and not to a particular college. When I joined, they claimed that the highest placement was 44 LPA, but later I came to know that the student cracked it on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, with world-class facility classrooms, labs, a hostel, and a dining area. Each and every facility is available, such as sports, good and hygienic food, and the medical team is also available 24x7 in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is quite knowledgeable and highly qualified. They are always ready to help the children who are ready to eat all of their brains and gain extra knowledge. The syllabus in the first and second years, i.e., until the 4th semester, is quite overloaded and irrelevant at times because they give admissions based on scholarships, and to maintain the scholarship, you have to maintain a CGPA of at least 8. So most of the students fail to get the minimum required CGPA and lose their scholarship, and the exams are also planned likewise.
Other: The marketing of the college is huge and irrelevant to reality. I must say I was trapped due to their marketing strategies, and it was not only me; most of the students in my batch were the same.

The reality of Bennett University.
Placements: The placement rate for my course is 100%. However, the salary offered is very low. The highest salary is 8lpa and the lowest goes down to 2lpa. This is not what I expected after paying so much for the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Bennett University looks like a foreign university. The libraries are huge and have a lot of books. The Wi-Fi works well, and the biometric attendance system is good technology. There are a lot of food outlets, but they are overpriced. The hostels are clean, but they are overcrowded, and the medical facilities are not always adequate. The best thing about the university is the sports society, which is very active and has its own annual tournament.
Faculty: The professors at Bennett University are highly skilled and experienced, but they can be a bit egotistical. If we question their ideology, it can damage our relationship with them. The course curriculum is a good balance of theoretical and practical knowledge. We have radio and TV studios for hands-on experience. The semester exams are divided into midterms and finals, and both are neutral. They test not only what we learned but also how we apply it. The passing percentage is 4 CGPA.
Other: The university provides ample opportunities for students to grow and prove themselves, and provides the necessary equipment and resources. However, they could provide more internship opportunities to help students grow professionally. The university hosts a three-day festival called UPHORIA, which is amazing. Additionally, there are always events happening on campus, either school-based or university-based. The university has clubs for every interest, and the scholarship criteria are divided into academic and sports-based categories. The criteria start at 10% and go up to 50% maximum.
