Q:   Can I get direct admission in Bharath University?

A: 

Bharath University allows direct admission to its open distance learning courses offered by BIHER online. Interested candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of their desired course and then apply to the programme through online or offline modes.

However, admission to BIHER regular courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for the predetermined BIHER admission process to secure a seat in their desired course.

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the BTech Civil Engineering programme at Bharath University?

A: 

Candidate must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum 45%-50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. For Bio-Engineering departments, passed in Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology. At the time of application form filling and admission confirmation, aspirant need to submit the pass certificate (original and photocopy) for verification purposes.

A: 

Yes, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry to the BTech course. Through lateral entry, candidates get direct admission in the second-year of the course. BTech (LE) is offered for a duration of three-years to aspirants who have completed Diploma recognised by central or state government with at least 50% aggregate or BSc Mathematics or its equivalent. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria must meet the merit requirement set by the university for admission. Bharath University.
Placements: During the placement season, 80% of our course secured job offers from various reputed companies. The placement process was a reflection of the rigorous curriculum and the skills we developed during the programme. The highest package offered was INR 7 LPA, which highlights the potential of students excelling in their respective fields. The lowest package stood at INR 3 LPA, ensuring that even the starting opportunities for students were valuable. The average package came to around INR 4.5 LPA, showcasing a balance of diverse roles and opportunities.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are average, and there is only one canteen, which is the worst. All hostel rooms have Wi-Fi, but it is slow. The food is good, but the washrooms are shared by the entire floor. The menu is entirely Tamilnadu cuisine. This college has a central library that is pretty good for studying. There are no washing machines in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, but they don't teach you anything. They just send you to YouTube to learn the material. There are three classroom exams per semester and a final exam. The exams are pretty easy to pass. The course curriculum is relevant, but you won't learn anything from it because it's all basic syllabus material.
Other: No fest.

Providing good placements, college with quality education and infrastructure.
Placements: In my course, almost 90% of students are placed here, as I enquired with my seniors. The highest package is 28 Lacs per year. The average package is 6 Lacs per year. The lowest package is 4 Lacs per year. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc. In my course, 50% of students got internships. For my seniors, it depends on our interest, but the college interacts with many companies and provides many internship opportunities. The top roles mostly offer support.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here. There is AC facility in classrooms, the library has the AC facility and more materials to learn. In my hostel, they provide one study chair, study table, and bed. The food is very good and hygienic to eat. Medical facilities are also there as the college has a hospital inside. Sports and games are avoided.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and highly knowledgeable. They are friendly with us and teach in a way that helps us learn more. This course curriculum definitely makes students industry-ready because it changes every 4 years depending on the updated world. There is no difficult level because teachers will give the good stuff that helps to pass easily. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: This course I chose is definitely a demanded example. Mechanical is everywhere, for example, in bikes and cars, so I chose this course. There is nothing more to improve for the college faculty. They will recheck and change anything that is faulty. Everything is fine to learn. There are no events like freshers and farewell, and extracurricular activities too that I am disappointed with, but apart from that, everything is good. Scholarship means the fee depends on our merit in intermediate. If we get 90% above, our fee is 85000 per year. If we get 70%-89%, our fee is 75000 per year. If we get 60%-70%, our fee is 65000 per year.

Good in studies but don't expect other things like sports cultural, etc.
Placements: The batch consists of 100 students and the fee structure varies according to the years; for us, it is 100,000 per year but for other batches, it increases. I don't know but internship is through our college hospital and average package may be 15000 to 20000.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not much good but other facilities are available for example, labs, Wi-Fi, library, canteens, no culture, sports, etc. Lots of requirements is there. We will lose our sleep daily so be careful before joining into this course.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching skills as well as knowledge. The canteen has no culture program, sports, etc., and there are a lot of requirements to complete. We will lose sleep every day, so be careful before enrolling in this semester's course.
Other: Scholarship are not available and no cultural sports.

Excellent and good quality of education.
Placements: There are nearly 85 percent of placements there, and the highest package is 16, and the lowest package is 4lpa. Many companies are recruiting to our college, and roles are more offered in our college. We are getting more internships in our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have more facilities and infrastructure, and we have Wi-Fi, labs, digital classrooms, a library, and good food and atmosphere and good medical facilities and sports and more games and more quality of food available in our message.
Faculty: We have more teachers for preparing for exams, and the teachers are knowledgeable. The teacher-teaching quality was good, and the semester was strict. The passing percentage was more nearly 85 percent. The study quality is good, and I am happy to say to you.
Other: I have taken the CSE and I have more knowledge about the college, having a good quality of education, and more. We have a fest nad getting scholarships, and having activities.

Good place with friendly faculty members in college.
Placements: It is glad to tell them that more than 850 students have been placed the highest salary package offered was 13 LPA and the minimum salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. More than 32 companies visit our college. This is what I wanted to share about my college, where students have opportunities to interact with industries during visits to Bharath University.
Infrastructure: When students ago to the library, it will feel like a star hotel, showcasing one of the best libraries in the world. Hostel has a very nice atmosphere, and food is available, with dishes from various states. People respect each other, and no one is unhappy.
Faculty: Semesters are very good and classes are peaceful. University has the best campus I have visited in my life in campus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu teachers are well-educated, with many holding doctorates. Students are very helpful in life.
Other: I depart because I like to fly around the world. Good campus nature and good fest programs develop every time in college, helping with wilderness. Good hospitals are available in college aand campus has a peaceful nature. College atmosphere is very calm and serene.

Overall am not satisfied with the placement cell, rest of the things were the best.
Placements: No companies are visiting for this field. If you can do something by yourself, then only can join here. The college will not help; they can help only if you are willing to get placed in other streams like Science. For computer science, it's one of the best places to get admission.
Infrastructure: There is a special building and a special department for this stream that is good, and the facilities and faculty members were one of the best of this university. You will not regret joining after meeting the faculty members and visiting the department.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and educated in theory as well as practical aspects. They are interactive and supportive in nature. Exams are taken very tough, facing more difficulties in internal examinations compared to semester examinations; however, passing marks will be 50 percent.

Q:   Is MBBS available at Bharath University?

A: 

Yes, MBBS is a 4.5 year course followed by one year of compulsory rotating internship. The period of 4.5 years is divided into nine semester, with each semester of six month. Phase I or the Pre-Clinical phase is of 13 months and is preceded by a one-month foundation course.At the end of Phase II or the Para-clinical phase (12 months) students will be assessed on the subjects Pharmacology, Pathology and Microbiology. At the end of Phase III part I (13 months) students will be assessed on Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology and Oto-rhinolaryngology.
