BMAT 2024 Counselling & Seat Allotment: Registration Dates, Procedure

Yes, the BMAT (Bharati Vidyapeeth Management Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth for admission to the MBA programme at IMED Pune.

In addition to the BMAT score, candidates seeking admissions to MBA programs must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Final year candidates can also apply.

The BMAT counselling process begins after the BMAT provisional short list is released. Candidates who qualified for the BMAT counselling must follow the steps below to complete the counselling registration:

1. Visit the official website
2. Click on the button reading 'New Registration'
3. Fill in the BMAT application number and date of birth
4. Several details are prefilled from the BMAT application form, including personal and academic details in the registration form.
5. Upload photograph and signature in the specified format and size.
6. Pay the counselling fee via the available payment modes. After successful payment, you will receive a payment confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email ID. Candidates then need to appear for the further selection procedure which is Personal Interview.

To be eligible for BVP BMAT counseling, candidates must have appeared for the Bharati Vidyapeeth Management Aptitude Test (BMAT) and secured a rank in the merit list. They should have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum percentage (typically 50% for general and 45% for reserved categories) from a recognised university. Candidates need to have all necessary documents, including mark sheets, the BMAT scorecard, and identity proof, for verification during counseling. Additionally, they must register for the counseling process by completing the counseling form, uploading required documents, and paying the counseling fee as instructed by Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Candidates from reserved categories or those applying under specific quotas must meet additional eligibility criteria set by the BVP university. 

After securing a seat through BMAT counselling, confirm your acceptance and pay the required admission fee within the given timeframe. Submit all necessary documents for verification, including mark sheets and the BMAT scorecard. Complete additional admission formalities as instructed by the university.
