Placements: ​Placement at Banaras Hindu University is amazing, and placement cells are really active. They cooperate with students and ensure companies visit the campus, even providing internships. Good MNCs such as Barclays and Accenture visit, providing good stipends.

Placements: Approximately 25% of students got placed in my college. There are lots of opportunities in my course. Many companies like Reliance, Adani, and Tata visit our college to hire younger students. Approximately all students go to placements through their relative's companies, and also provide internships to students.

Placements: In my course, there are no placements possible because it's a Social Science course in which placements don't take place. However, students pursuing this Social Science course can apply for many internships through which they can be hired by companies.

Placements: The internship opportunities are so many in our college, and it literally gives students to create their career from base to a high level. It is so well-mannered, and the basic skills learning is so good. The campus placement of our college is quite good, and from the 3rd year onwards, campus placement starts. It literally gives us a good hope to build our dream. Quite peaceful and very well-known companies also come here.

Placements: 10% of students are placed every year from a total of 500 students. The lowest package is 5 Lacs, the average package is 7-8 Lacs, and the highest is 14 Lacs. Mahindra and Tata companies are recruiting for our course. 50% of students get internships in companies. No top roles are offered to my college.

Placements: We are not provided with any placements facility and there is no placements cell in the college. While taking the admission, we were told that we will get a placements cell and our teachers will be field experts, but we are not given any such an opportunity yet. The coordinators give us internship applications through internshala which are not even relatable to our course.

Placements: There is no placement for B.Sc. students in the Physics Department. For a B.Sc. in BHU, you have to give the CUET UG exam conducted by NTA, in which you have to give exams in Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Bio. If you want to do any internship, you have to apply to other colleges.

Placements: In the mechanical engineering branch, there are two types of placement: core and non-core placement. About 78% of students got placed in 2023. Out of some non-placed students, some went abroad for higher education, and some joined IIMs to do an MBA, while others got placed outside the campus. For core placement, there are companies like TATA, Birla, Mahindra, etc. For non-core, there are MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, De Shaw, and many more.

Placements: As I am UG student cannot tell too much about this but placements are really good. There is also a training and placement cell that gives guidance related to placements. The office of dean of students helps students with scholarships and other things.

Placements: About 70-80% of students in my course were placed others did not sit for job interviews but rather decided to prepare for government exams. The highest salary package offered is about 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Google, and Ashok Leyland.

Placements: At the Department of Mathematics, Institute of Science, placements are not much encouraged. In my time, 4 students were placed with a package of 5 to 6 Lacs in a batch of 120. But now they have a placement cell where you have to join, and they mostly call companies from the edtech sector. However, in other departments like Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry, placements are good. In my department, they do not offer too many internships; during my time, there was only one, which was Vedic Mathematics....

Placements: We don't get any placement in the Bachelor's degree in our college, but we can do internships that are either paid or unpaid and receive a certificate. There are paid internships available, which provide three months of training and nine months of internship, for which we get paid. These internships include hotel management. Unpaid internships include teaching children in an NGO, for which we do not get paid but receive a certificate.

Placements: The placement facilities at BHU are not good, as Bachelor of Science courses do not offer many jobs just after graduation. I see this as a problem of the course and not of the college. Still, if you want to land a job as a fresher just after graduation, you have to apply on your own, as the college will not help you land a job.

Placements: Mainly, few students with a combination of Geology or Chemistry are placed, and for the B.Sc. programme, one or two companies come in some years. In 2022, 5 students of the Geology department were placed at 25 LPA. Mainly, companies related to biological surveys offer a few internships. The main internship opportunities are ongoing research in college. More common roles are lab assistants.

Placements: Around 81% of students got placed in electrical engineering at IIT BHU. The highest salary package offered is 1.68CPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. Around 90% of students got internships in the third year in companies like Google, Microsoft, and so much. Top role offered is software developed.

Placements: Around 82% of students got placed in our course. As we saw, even electrical students get a salary package of 1.68 CPA, and the highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. The top roles offered are SDE and web develops.

Placements: My branch is mathematics and computing at this university. My batch had 52 students at first, and now it has 57 students after 1st semester due to a branch change. As for the students of my branch who got placed this year 78.72% of students got placed in this year's MNC branch. The highest salary package offered is 54 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 32.66 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, ...

Placements: My branch is Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU. The placement percentage is about 74% of the students who got placed in the recent year, 2024. The highest package was about 54 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 10 Lacs per annum in my branch. Overall, in the college, the highest package was 2.65 crores per annum, and the minimum was 10 Lacs per annum. Placements: Almost everyone who sat for the placement interview was placed and had a great opportunity to interact with companies. The highest package was around 3 CR, and the lowest was somewhere around 7-8 Lacs. Top roles were in marketing, SDE, and finance, with a few good roles, especially in the market.

Placements: So, phase 1 placements are just finished, and about 65-70% of students in my branch got placed in December '24. This percentage is low because many of them are UPSC aspirants and they didn't sit for placements. In mining engineering, the highest package received was 51 LPA by Microsoft, the average was 18-20 LPA, while the lowest was 12 LPA.
