I am satisfied with this Institute.

Placements: Almost all the students got placed from computer science engineering branch, but very few from all the other branches. The highest package offered is 15.5 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA this year. There is some improvement in placements this year. Students got placed in companies like Impossible, Wipro etc.

Not an ideal college for engineering.

Placements: Here, the tnp cell is very inactive. Till date, no company has been here for recruitment. The placement process is done through BIT MESRA and BIT PATNA. For mechanical, you'll always want to get placed in a core company, but even in mesra, one core company came last year (2017). .

Think before joining as it costs 12 lakh rupees, better try to take admission at Bangalore.

Placements: The best students always get the placements, but opportunities are less as the placements are held at the main campus, Ranchi. It is less favourable for extension centre students. If you want placement, you have to be very hard working from the beginning. Mechanical branch placements are very low.

Complete review of BIT Deoghar

Placements: The placement is not very high. 50% of the students get placed this year. The highest package is 14.6 lakhs. The average package is 3.5 lakhs around. The entire placement happens in Mesra campus. All leading companies visit Mesra. The students were offered analyst, coder, web developer, etc. jobs. The internship is based on personal search only, not offered by the college.

Good teaching and infrastructure

Placements: The campus placements in college were good and as always up to the mark from previous years. The placements of senior batches were also good and satisfactory. The companies which came for placements were majorly IT companies and also, core branch companies came.

Not worth the money you pay. College life would be good. The afterlife would be horrible.

Placements: The intake quality of students is deteriorating due to BIT counselling rather than AIEEE counselling. So our seniors were well placed (AIEEE counselled) and our junior batches would be placed with average placements. The highest on-campus package would be 6 LPA and majority of the students would be in Wipro, Infosys or TCS. MuSigma, Sapient, Cybage, Wipro and some other companies visited the campus. Majority of students are assigned software developer or testing roles. Only MuSigma offers busine...

It is an average college with average placements.

Placements: Top roles offered are SD and full-stack developers. The majority of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA–5 LPA, and the average is around 7 LPA–8 LPA. For internships, you need to apply yourself. Many companies like Microsoft, Cognizant, and others visit here. If you work hard, you will get good placements.

Review of BIT Mesra - Deoghar Extension Center.

Placements: Placements were fine for students who opted for this college. Many companies offered placements, so it was a good opportunity for students who wanted to grab this offer. Moreover, students were well-trained for placements. The training and placement cell organised group discussions, etc., for the benefit of the students.
