It is an average college and has average faculty, students, and placements.

Placements: Currently, the placements are going on, and around 25 students have been placed. In our course, around 15 students got placed, and 1 student got an internship in Amazon through the college. Others students got off-campus internships. The highest salary package offered till now is around 9 LPA in ZS associates, and currently, the lowest salary package offered is 6.6 LPA in Amdocs, and average salary package also offered around 6.5 LPA which might change in the coming time as more students get pla...

I'm not satisfied with the fee structure, and the placements are also bad in the college.

Placements: Placements in the college were not very satisfactory, as 18 students got placed out of 40. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, the lowest package offered was 3.25 LPA, and the average salary package offered was about 4 LPA. Most of the students had backlogs due to which they are not eligible campus placements. Mostly, the mass recruiters visited the college to offer placements. Students have to find means to get internships on their own and they have to do at least 3 internships to g...

A college with the best faculty but average placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are below average. The management collects such a high amount of fee but is not able to provide good placement to anyone. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, the average package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. There is no compulsory internship for students. The placement cell is not working properly. 30% of the students got placed from my batch.

If you don't get IITs and NITs, then go for this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. The average package offered for CSE and IT branch students is around 3-4 LPA. We have 75% of placements for CSE and IT branch. In core branches, placements are very poor. The lowest package was 3.2 LPA, and the highest was 12 LPA. Our college helps us in the internship programme. There is a placement cell, but it doesn't work properly.

Bit Patna review by its own student.

Placements: It has an average placement. Generally CSE, EEE, ECE are the only branch with placement and that also not much. I guess it is an average college for placement point of view. Approximately 88 % of people get placed in CSE branch with average package around 3.5 Lacs pe annum. The lowest package of our seniors this year was 3.2 Lacs and the highest was 12 Lacs per annum.

The college is good but placements are not like as main camps campus (MESRA) also fee is too much.

Placements: The college placement is good for CS it students. Average placement in EEE, Eve. And finally a few placement in civil, mechanical & production. I have to say one thing more that almost all company visit main campus (RANCHI) & students have to visit there. A few company only visit Patna campus.

One of the best college in Bihar. The average placement in ECE department.

Placements: The placements were nice, but not in core companies. Most of them were IT sector companies that too you have to work hard to get that placement which happens in BIT Mesra, and you have to run Mesra Ranchi for placements. Some core companies do come, but you have to maintain good CGPA above 8 to be eligible to sit for placement.

Your future will get better if you read this and take the right decision

Placements: Good not for other branches except CSE, ECE and IT. According to this year, 14 lakhs is the highest placement which was offered only to 2 students. The average placement is 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs which is not good enough for students. It is also not good according to its Mesra campus placements which have the lowest placements, better than this average placement.

This college should be considered as a last choice.

Placements: The placement scenario was declining from past few years, but things are gradually improving. Almost 5 girls have bagged above 10 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. The students all over Patna and nearby colleges now come here for the placements. Few from NIT and some other like BIT Deoghar, Bhagalpur, etc., take part in the placement over here on the campus. The students bag bigger on the off campus. A guy bagged 17.5 LPA this year from off-campus.

BIT Patna- full review on why you should go there and why not.

Placements: Placements are not as a good as one expects from BIT Mesra but still if you study hard, you will get a good package. The highest package which a BIT Patna student has got is Rs. 14.5 lacs in VMware. There are 30-40 companies which visit BIT Patna every year.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Patna Extension Center.

Placements: Placements for core branches are not very good. You can opt for a minor degree in computer science if you don't have any backlog in any of your semesters. System engineer, software engineer, SDE, DevOps engineer, and many other roles are offered in our college.

This college is not good for BBA degree.

Placements: There were no proper placements for management students. Though some mates of the senior batches got an offer from a few known companies and startups. This year, very few companies had started with unfair eligibility criteria making it more difficult for students. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Those senior students who were offered packages preferred studying for a master's degree.

BIT Patna is developing, so keep your expectations a bit low.

Placements: From what I have heard, placements are average here. Only a few academically top students are sent to the main campus, where good placement offers are provided. But from what I have heard, students from extension centres have to face biased behaviour from the placement officers.
