BIT MCA Entrance Exam 2025: Dates, Registration, Exam Dates, Admission Process

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra conducts BIT MCA entrance exam for admission to 2 years of full-time MCA courses at institutes Mesra, Lalpur, Jaipur and Noida campus. The exam is conducted once a year in various cities across the country. The allotment of seats is done based on the candidates' performance in the exam through online counselling.

BIT MCA 2025 application form will be released online. While filling out the BIT MCA application form 2025, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic and contact details. After uploading their scanned documents, the candidates will also have to pay the required BIT MCA 2025 application fee. The payment of the application fee has to be done online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Only the registered candidates will be able to participate in the entrance examination.

BIT MCA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the BIT MCA 2025 entrance test need to fulfil the below-mentioned official eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed or appeared in any of the following courses

• Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics, or
• B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at the graduate level

The candidate has to obtain the minimum score marks of 55% for the general and 50% marks for the reserved category. Candidates with BSc Honours must have a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks on average in their Honours subject. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are also eligible.

Candidates are advised to check the BIT MCA 2025 exam pattern carefully to be prepared for the examination. As per the BIT MCA exam pattern, the examination will be held as an online computer-based test. During the 2-hour long examination, the candidates will have to attempt 120 objective multiple-choice questions. The questions will be prepared from the topics of Mathematics, Computer Awareness, Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability, and English. For every correct answer, four marks will be awarded. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

BIT MCA 2025 syllabus will consist of the subjects, units and topics that the candidates will have to study for the entrance exam. The subjects to be studied for BIT MCA 2025 are Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, English and Computer Awareness. While preparing for the exam, it is important for the candidates to check the official syllabus so that they are aware of what has to be studied.

BIT MCA 2025 admit card will be released online. Registered and eligible candidates will be able to access the BIT MCA admit card 2025 by logging in using the required credentials. Information regarding the candidate's allotted exam date, timings, centre, guidelines and more will be available through the admit card. While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates are advised to present their BIT MCA 2025 hall ticket and valid ID proof. Without these documents, the candidates will not be considered eligible to attempt the exam.

The authorities have not yet announced the BIT MCA 2025 result date. To access the BIT MCA result 2025, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. Candidates will be able to download the result in the form of a BIT MCA 2025 scorecard. The marks and the All India Rank secured in the examination can be checked through the result. A print out of the result has to be taken out for future reference.

BIT MCA 2025 counselling dates will be released online. Candidates will have to register for the BIT MCA counselling process at bitmesra.ac.in. After filling out the required details, the candidates will have to select their choices in the order of preference. This is important as the order of preference will be considered during the allotment of seats. BIT MCA 2025 seat allotment will be announced online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. All selected candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date.

Candidates seeking admission through BIT MCA entrance exam will be eligible to take admission in the 2-year (4-semester) full-time MCA programme offered at Birla Institute of Technology (BITS) at its campuses in - Mesra, Jaipur, Lalpur, and Noida can appear for the test.
