Placements: The salary offered to batch of MBA BITS Pilani-2018-20 are as follows the highest-15 Lacs, average-8.9 Lacs per annum. Top Recruiting companies are Toyota, KPMG, Cisco, UBS, Statkraft, Schneider Electric, Zomato, SBI, Accenture, Cognizant, Netcore, India mart.
Placements: Recruiting companies include Goldman Sachs, Amazon Microsoft, Flipkart, De Shaw Larsen & Toubro, etc. There are two internships given by university- 1. At the end of 2nd year of 2.5 months. 2. During 4th year of 5.5 months. Internships are taken by most students and those who don't have to do a thesis instead. The top roles offered are Software Developers, IT Consultants, Managers, and Core jobs.
Placements: All the students from our branch got placed and 25% got internship offers as well. The average salary was around 17-18 lacs per annum while minimum salary offered was 12 lacs per annum. The top recruiters were Cisco, Qualcom, Amazon, Microsoft, Toshiba etc.
Placements: Many companies like Qualcomm, Mathworks, Toshiba, Micron, Cypress semiconductor and Analog Devices visited our college for placements in core branch. Most of the people who sat for placements got placed in the above companies. Qualcomm offered the highest salary package. Roles offered to the students are associate software engineer, EDG engineer, etc.
Placements: Core placements were low, but overall placements are high. The highest salary package offered is around 60 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 15 LPA to 20 LPA. Placements: There are almost 100% placements in our branch. GE, Seimens, Arup, Honeywell, Mathworks, etc., are one of the top recruiters. We have teaching assistantship along with assistance to research fellows and faculty members. We also have exposure to projects in national as well as international competitions. Placements: More than 90% of the students got placed. The highest package was 22 LPA offered by oracle and the lowest was around 6 LPA and many analytics companies offered to pay around 6 lacs. Top recruiting companies - Oracle, Brain, BCG, Flipkart, Grey n Orange, ZS, PwC, Almost everyone did internship in their desired fields.
Placements: Placements and salary packages and are low for biotechnology, and there is a little chance for placements. There would be practice school offered in 2nd year where chances of placements are more, and you get available for industry. Anyhow course work and technical learning are good.
Placements: In 2019 there was 100% placement in our Course specifically M.Sc. Economics (Hons) + BE computer science. Exact data is not provided, but the average salary package offered in placement was around 15-20 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 98 LPA by Uber US the lowest salary package offered was between 10-12 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Deshaw, Uber, etc., visited the campus. Almost 100% of internships were offered by companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook, Uber, etc.
Placements: Mostly 20% of people enrolled in my course applies for the placements in electronics course only. Out of which all of them either gets placed or go to do MS outside India. Other people mostly try placements either in computer Science or in finance or consulting. And the placement percentage is 100%. The highest package in electronics course for placements is given by Texas instruments and Intel.
Placements: Placements this year has already been a grand success! Only 3-4 students in CSE are left unplaced. Infact IT companies are now refusing to come because we have so few unplaced students, that its not worth their time to conduct the entire process for just 2-3 students. Placements: The placements were overall a good success. But if you look at the individual branch placements, the majority of students got placed in IT companies and the remaining in non-core companies. That is not what students with technical background usually prefer.
Placements: The placements in the IT sector are excellent. Especially if you have done a data Science minor, you are looking at companies like Uber, Facebook, GE, Samsung even if you are not a computer Science student. The Computer Science placements are probably one of the best in the country. In core chemical companies like Schlumberger (32 LPA), reliance, ongc and oil do arrive. So if you're looking at core placements, you have got yourself an excellent chance.
Placements: Companies like Hyundai Motors, Tata Advanced Systems, Johnson Controls, SKF Bearings, L&T Metro Hyderabad, L&T, etc., visit our campus for placements of students from mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering department. Placements: Placement statistics for our batch were very decent. Almost 85% of the students were placed. It is good as compared to the number of students who opted to pursue higher studies. Core companies in electronic include Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, National Instruments, etc., visited the campus. Placements: It has 100% placement with good packages and top notch Mac's visit the campus for it. The top domestic packages goes up to 50 LPA while outside its even more than a crore. Placements in the core branches is also pretty decent as compared to that in the other colleges.
Placements: Placements in our college are better than the rest of the colleges except for the top 5 IITs. IT placements are top-notch with companies like Uber, Nutanix, Microsoft, Samsung R&D, Oracle, etc., offering the packages of 25 LPA. Placements: The placement status of BITS Pilani is very good as students are part of the placement committee which helps you to get proper guidance and make your resume likeable. Most of the students get placed in the IT sector. However, the other half of the students get placed in the non-core sector.
Placements: Placements for my branch are pretty good. We can sit for the drives of almost all IT companies. The average salary package offered is more than 10 LPA, and it is the same for core placements too. It is very good for a student to start their career with this package. Being in BITS from EEE department, we can also learn coding to get placed easily.
