Placements: The placements for Mechanical engineering. Are not so great if you compare with disciplines like CSE/EEE. But thinking practically, a huge starting salary in a core mechanical company doesn't make sense because in this field experience is what gives you mastery which can only come with years in the industry. A 6-7 LPA package was received by the 2018 batch students on an average. The numbers go much higher for those who SAT for non-core/non-tech/IT companies.
Placements: Placement Cell of BITS Pilani, Goa is very proactive and it helps a lot to help students get industry exposure right from your 3rd year when they launch summer internship opportunities is some of the big software companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon to name a few. For every branch, they call companies who come to campus for internships. Even for chemical engineering, big companies like Shell, Honeywell take a lot of students and if you perform well in internship, you get a PPO (Pre placeme...
Placements: My batch- 7 out of 10 & from my senior's batch 8 out of 11 got placed. The highest 8 lacs, the lowest 4.5 lacs & average 6 lacs offered. All students have enough companies for internship. Average stipend is Rs. 10000. Yes, we have separate Placement Unit and they work very hard.
Placements: The placement is a transparent process. I got a placement in VFS Global wimhich is a MNC involve din visa processing, passport processing and technology outsourcing company. The role offered to me is a business analyst which matches my expectations after doing MBA. The placement process was well structured at every stage and under the supervision of placement manager and placement committee.
Placements: In our branch, Students placed in L&T, IFB, Siemens, Cyient, Accenture, Bombardier, GE in placement season 2016-18. Placement is very good and it's above 80%. Maximum salary offered is 10 lacs in Bombardier and Min in IFB 4.5 lac per annum. Most of get Design engineer position.
Placements: 75% of students got placed. The highest salary was 7LPA And the lowest salary was 4LPA 90% of the students went to 6 months internships at top MNCs. Companies such as consultancy firms and the core research and development companies usually visit Profiles in which students got placed are Regulatory affairs Trainee in AR&D and for&D Business development executive.

Placements: The placements have been quiet decent, During my senior batch almost 90-95% of the batch got placed by the end of the session, average CTC was around 8-9lpa, top recruiters being JPMC, CTS, KPMG, IndiaMart, Janlaxmi Bank, TCS and many more In this year so far 80% of the batch has been placed with top recruiters being Accenture, KPMG, IndiaMart, CTS & Maybank, Bombardier, Sriram Finance etc. Average package is around 10.5 LPA so far which is a good jump.
Placements: Placements are very decent. Almost 100% placements. The People who are left unplaced are doing something really or have not learned or grown much in their college life. The average package is also really decent it's around 13-14 LPA for my branch and around 10 LPA for the entire campus.
Placements: A large number of companies visit our campus, and it is up to the students. Placements are exceptional for top branches like computer science, EEE, and ENI. Other branch students also get the suitable placements, but they have to put extra effort in learning the code or have minimum knowledge in finance.
Placements: Since our college is relatively younger, so the placements are not par with Pilani campus. But still we are showing great improvement in them. Our last year stats have been great and this year too almost 95% of applied students got placed. I am not mentioning placement percentage anywhere because they are not the right way to judge any college. If you reach a college like this, surely you would want to pursue higher studies. And let me tell when it comes to higher studies we have a great record....
Placements: There are many companies, which offer campus placement according to your performance in your academic score. After your 7th semester, some companies are setting a meeting in which you have the opportunity to opt the preferable one. Several companies such as Tata Motors, Toyota, and Audit Suzuki invite students for the placements. They will provide a package of approximately 15 to 20 lacs per annum, which is a minimum package, and the highest package in the college history was 12 million, i.e., 1...
Placements: The placements are good. Several big shot companies come to the campus to recruit students from Goldman Sachs to Google, Intel, G. E Rollyroyce, Qualcomm, etc. Many students get their placements from PPO from internship from practice school. There is a placement division and practise school division involving student body working all day.
Placements: About 90% of the students got placed currently. The highest package of 45 lacs was bagged by a CSE guy. The overall average being 11 lacs. Over 50 companies had offered job to the students. Some famous companies like Facebook, Amazon, Daikin, Arcesium, Nutanix and Schlumberger were the top paymasters. The Placement Division played a huge role in inviting top companies.
Placements: The placements are good for mechanical branch. A lot of core companies come in campus, with a good chunk of automotive ones. Nearly, all the mechanical students get placed, so that is not an issue. The average core salary is around 6lacs and above, and the highest is 21 lac CTC for companies like Trident. The roles are mostly a graduate engineer trainees and in production/operation management. In terms of the internship, a 6-month internship option and opportunities are offered as part of it by ...
Placements: Median CTC for 2016 batch placements for CS is 17.5 LPA, ECE is 10 LPA, EEE is 8.3 LPA, Eni is 7.1 LPA, mechanical is 7 LPA, civil is 6 LPA, and for the chemical is 6 LPA with companies visiting like Oracle, Qualcomm, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. The percentage of students placed is about 97% in CS, 87% in ECE, 92% in EEE, 93% in ENI, 70% in mechanical, 83% in Civil and 83% in the chemical.
Placements: The placements have been consistently excellent at BITS Pilani, especially for computer science with the average package for a CS graduate hovering around anywhere from 12-15 lacs per annum. All the students get placed in the final placements with one or two exceptions. There is a separate placement cell, which takes care of the whole placement process. For the internships, almost everyone gets a summer internship in the college.
Placements: The previous statistics show 100% placement for this branch, but from 2017, they increased the batch strength, so we can't say about placements for current batch. Still, there is an option of practice school where you have the option of converting the internships. Rest all depends on your luck and CGPA.
Placements: Placements are there in core companies as well as finance, IT and consultancy companies. The average package and placement percentage is most for the CS and electronics streams. There are chemical and mechanical companies that visit the campus in both the semester, but very few students sit for those companies because they prefer further studies. The initial package for core companies is often low because these jobs have long training periods. This information is according to me, being a chemica...
Placements: The placements in the college are really good. Several top companies like Amazon, Goldmann Sachs come every year. The most popular field is IT and electronics. The placements for streams other than engineering are also good. The campus has a record of almost 100% placements.
