Placements: The placements are the worst in this college. The companies rarely come for campus recruitment. Recently, MacLean technology came for recruitment and selected 4-5 students at a package of 3-4 lacs per annum. The companies like TCS and Infosys comes for placements and selected only a few students at a low package of 3-4 lacs per annum. The placements are very rare in core branches.
Placements: Placement is not good here. 3-4 companies visit here and that too for CSE IT branch. Rarely any company comes for core branch. Companies like TCS IBM etc. Visit and give placement to 40-50 students In my senior batch rarely any senior of core branch get placed offcampus the highest package was 9 Lacs from CSE branch and that was offcampus. On campus the placement are the worst. Some students get 3-4 LPA packages Others remain unplaced. About 30 % students get placed. College will not support you...
Placements: The placement was very poor in our year. Only 20% of the overall students and 5% of the students in my department got placed from college. Only 2-3 companies like Artec, Surya Communication, Bhilwara came on campus offering 8k-12k per month salary. The pool campus drives by other companies like Hind Rectifier, Chhabi Electrical, Techsci Research, Acuvate, and Sutherland were arranged in other colleges. The job roles offered were mostly for BPO, RPO, sales officer, technician, etc. From off-campu...
Placements: The placement was below average. The average package offered was 1.5 lacs per annum. It was not that helpful, as most of them were BPOs. Even those who were recruiting 4-5 students out of 50 on an average. Even the companies were providing recruitments in farther cities. If you have to get a job, then learn to help yourself.
Placements: Every year students have to do mass bunks and strikes in the college campus for company visiting in college and recruitment. At least 4-5 companies come and recruit some students in other colleges, but in our college, only one or two companies come and give the package of 1.8 per annum.
Placements: The college has very low placement. Very few students got the jobs, and others are jobless. There is no mass campusing. A few pool campusing drives took place. I am job less. The college has no TPO since 2017. The college condition is very poor. Students are hopeless. Management is very bad. They are the main culprit for this situation.
Placements: The condition of placement is very bad. Only 2 small companies visited the college and recruited very few students. There is no placement officer. The college authority is very irresponsible about students' future. There are no good teachers to teach. If you have money, then the college will provide facilities, else it doesn't provide.
Placements: The placement is not as per expectations. Very few companies provide on-campus placements and very few students are selected. Others have to pursue job hunting all by themselves. The college authority is indifferent about the future of students. The training and placement cell is inactive. The highest salary offered by TCS, the only MNC to come for placements, was 3-3.2 lacs PA. I even saw companies offering 6,000 for B.E students in our college.
Placements: Only TCS came for placement and selected only 5 people. One other company came for placement. The students from other branches remained unplaced. There was no TPO in the college. There was no internship offered. Moreover, they did not provide any information about off-campus placements which happened in other colleges.
Placements: I would say that the training and placement cell of our college is below average. The college and especially the training and placement cell are responsible for providing industry exposure to the students, UIT, BU (University Institute of Technology, Burdwan University) has completely failed when it comes to prepare students for interviews and bring in good product-based organisations for recruitment. Service-based companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra did attend and recruited a bunch of students...
Placements: Placements are near about 5-10%. Companies which visit the campus provide packages worth Rs 1-1.5 lakh. No mass recruiter like TCS, CTS, Accenture visits the campus. Placements have been deteriorating for the last 2-3 years. The college authorities do not provide any sort of internship to leading companies or even start-ups.
Placements: If you are in the IT or CSE branch, the placement might not be an issue. But, the students getting admitted to CE and AEIE have the worst experience as they have meek chances of getting placed on the campus as the core companies are a rarity over here, so the students from the core branches tend to join either IT-based firms, BPOs or finance-based firms.
It is a semi government college under Burdwan University for BE. The campus is big but poorly maintained. The infrastructure is below average and the campus life is boring. Some of the faculties are good but still the overall quality of education is below average. Because of this the college is not capable enough to produce quality engineers.
The college doesn't even have proper faculty members. The classes are not conducted as per schedule. Placement is pathetic and no good companies visit the college. Pre-placement preparation is also unsatisfactory. Only computer science and information technology students get preference while students of other branches suffer to ineffective management.
Placements: On average, nearly 60% of the students get placements each year. The salary package offered is also quite relevant. The highest salary package offered in this college is about 3-4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is maybe around 1.5 LPA. The top recruiters for our course are HDFC and ICICI Bank.
Placements: Only one student of my branch got placed in pinnacle infotech and that was a pool campusing event in another college. No company visited our college this year for civil engineering most of the students are currently focusing on GATE as our seniors gave great results in GATE Exam.
Placements: Placements for the 2017 batch were not at all up to the expectations. TCS visited our college and recruited only 13 students, Capgemini recruited 5 students and Think & Learn recruited only 3 students. Rest around 15-20 students were recruited by companies that find no name in any reputed lists and those extended a salary package of just 1.6 LPA.
Placements: Currently situation of placement here is very poor as our college do not have any TPO right now. Mostly off-campus drive is held here in companies like TCS. No effort has been applied from college side. If you are too laborious you may get selected. Anyhow if you got selected in placement drive. You'll not be allowed to sit for another drive.
