Placements: There are no placements in B.Sc degree here. There are no internships also. However, teachers help to get internships by providing recommendations, etc. But there is no awareness about those things because it's a general science college and not a technological college.
Placements: None of the colleges gives placements after graduating English Hons. A very low percentage of students got an internship just after graduating English honors. None of the companies visited for the mainstream honors system.
Placements: More than 1,000 students are enrolled in this course from both evening and morning batches. I haven't applied for internships or didn't get selected for an internship because I was in the first semester before the COVID-19 pandemic. So, I didn't get the opportunity. However, I got to know from faculty members that internships and recruitment used to be good earlier. But after the college gained the reputation, placement facilities became poor.
Placements: I think any student did not get placed through this college. Our college doesn't provide any placement. So I suggest if students only want a degree, then opt for it. Bachelor of commerce is only the course offered by the college, and you don't have an option of choice.
Placements: Placements are average in our college, and students got placed in decent companies with average salary packages. But maximum students had to find jobs on their own. The maximum number of students did internships in small or medium companies on their own. Our college didn't provide internship facilities.
Placements: Around 20% to 30% of the students got placed in banks and NBFC, including a few small companies. I would never recommend this college for placements. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Many students, i.e., around 70% of the students got internships from our college. Roles were offered in accounting, finance tax law and audit assurance.
Placements: There were about 19 students in our batch. Our batch was comprised of quite intelligent students from good schools, but we never got a chance to attend for any company as there was no placement cell at our time. I have never seen any of our seniors got placed through the college.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any opportunity for placement. College informs only those students who are in talking terms with the management. Hardly two to three companies visited the campus for placement. The salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA -2.5 LPA. You will not get A good post. The support from the college is very poor. Even teachers did not support students to crack the interviews.
Placements: I would suggest others not to take admission in any college under the University of Calcutta. The college does not provide placements, placement cell, companies visits, industrial training, and there is also no support for internships. The college is for just for a name, and nothing is interesting. You will not get any job, and I am not happy with this college.
Placements: The college was good but there was not enough number of faculty members. No salary had been credited to the faculty because it was UG course. 44 students were admitted and only 22 students got the degree. Practical labs were not well maintained and well-equipped. Campus recruitments were not available. Students were quite sincere and scored good in university.
Placements: At least 50% of students got placed, some trying for better option. And it's a government-sponsored college and also we are doing a normal course so there is no issue of salary. Though maximum students are giving their best. Hopefully, we will be able to get a job at least. As if m talking about myself I need a job in a multinational company.
Placements: The college doesn't have a placement cell. It's a complete waste of money here. There's no help from the college. Ours is the first batch, and the college denied to offer placements to any of us. They do not give internships too. We're looking for internships on our own.
Placements: None The placements come from all startups and no big, good company. So basically it can be said that the college has no good placement. If you're studying in this college, do t expect to get placed. This was a major disappointment, after I learned about this in my 2 and year.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities provided by our college. There are no such facilities of elementary education here. The college offers the worst environment for education. It is totally a waste of time to study here. So basically the goons type of students are found here. They are just spending their time here.
Placements: I haven't heard about placements yet, thus you can understand the status of placements provided by the college. Our seniors were just indulged in the union. There are hardly any placements for undergraduate courses. Moreover, neither the college nor the students mention anything about placements. So, if someone wishes to get placed after the undergraduate course, they shouldn't opt for City College.
Placements: There are no such placements or job opportunities provided for us. We have to do everything on our own merit. Recently, Amazon visited our college for placements. Only a few students got qualified with very good marks in the very first year of graduation.
Placements: None of the companies come to the college for placements, and there is no placement committee in the college. This college is only for those people who just want to get a degree. In the last 10-15 years or more, no placements have been provided by the college, and there is no scope for it in the long term also. This college is suitable only for those who want to do some other course alongside.
Placements: I don't have much information about the placements as I didn't opt for any placement drives for B.Com. Moreover, I was pursuing a professional course, so there was no requirement for placements. I don't know the percentage of students who got placed, as I did not attend any placement drives myself.
Placements: The college offers good placement opportunities, but the online tests conducted by various companies are designed to benefit the CAT aspirants. Top-notch companies visit the college, and it is a great experience for students. But, the placement percentage is very low because the number of students appearing for interviews is very high and so the competition is high.
