A great campus life at a nice location.

Placements: When I spoke to my seniors about their placements, it seems about 90-95% of students got placed, the remaining 5% are people who haven't sat for placements. They opted other options like government exams. The internships that we get are firm internships like SAM, CAM, Trilegal, AZB, or litigation internships.

It is the best law college in WB, ranked at 4th in the country for a reason.

Placements: There were 100% placements in the previous year for the batch of 2021. Top companies like Khaitan and Co., come for recruitment. Tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 law firms have also come for hiring. The highest salary package received was 60 LPA for the batch of 2021.

The crowd and campus life are great, but the fee is high.

Placements: The placement record of our college is the best among all law schools in the country, with almost 100% placements every year since 2008 (when the third batch graduated). Most of the students (around 60% of those who are interested) got placed in one of the seven tier-1 law firms of the country which pay upward of 15 LPA (and increases later on). Others get recruited by other law firms and companies. It can safely be said that the average salary of an NUJS graduate is around 9-10 LPA. Overall, NU...

It provides good placements and an enriching college life.

Placements: The college had 100% placement records for the past few years. The average package ranged between 14-18 LPA by national law firms and 46-48 LPA by international law firms. The top recruiting companies are Trilegal, Khaitan & Co., SAM, CAM and other law firms.

A great platform - WBNUJS.

Placements: The placements at my college have been extremely good this year. While we got more than 50 job offers from Tier I law firms, tier 2 law firms, Banks and boutique firms have also come where we have got placements. Figures for placement have not yet finalized. Therefore a concrete number cannot be given. For the year 2018, there has been 100% placement. Approximately 100 people SAT for the placements and all they got jobs. The alumni base and the Placement wings of the respective batches help in g...

A mix of good and average facilities.

Placements: A recruitment committee that is comprised entirely of students of the outgoing batch, takes care of placements. They are in charge of liaising with law firms, companies and other organisations, setting up interviews etc. Faculty members or the college administration have no role to play therein. Our batch saw about 70-75% students being placed while our immediate senior batch saw about 60% students being placed. In our batch, the salaries ranged between INR 3,60,000 per annum to about INR 12,00,...

You can completely meet the expectations if you are in this university.

Placements: The placements are yet to happen, and I'm confident of securing a job. Looking at the previous records, all the students who opted for placements have secured a job. All the reputed law firms from across the country as well as from foreign countries come for that purpose. The average salary package is in between 12-18 lacs per annum. Also, the internships are easily available through the university.

This University is really great as it serves the most important function, imparting life skills.

Placements: My college boasts of 100% placement. The highest salary package is around 50 Lacs and the lowest is 6 Lacs. The average is between 10-12 Lacs. We have a Recruitment and Placement Committee that coordinates the process. It is very useful as it helps a lot in bagging internships in the top law firms and also helps secure a good job.

Most liberal law school in India.

Placements: Our batches had pretty awesome placement as compared to our senior batch. Almost 70-80% students were placed. The lowest package and the highest package was 2.5 lac and 40 lac (International law firm). Students were placed in domestic as well as International law firms, NGOs, LPOs, Under practicing lawyer, company like Bajaj alliance, TATA, etc. During internship the stipend differs place to place. NUJS has good course structure. But it lacks infrastructure, and some faculty can be improved.

Placements: In the previous year, that is the batch of 2017; there were 100% placements of the students who decided to opt for on-campus placements on day zero, or through PPOs (pre-placement offers). A small majority also opted for litigation under some senior lawyers to enter the practice. The placement trend at NUJS has been on the up over the years, and top law firms such as Khaitan, Luthra, SAM, CAM, AZB regularly hire a large chunk of students during campus placements. At the top law firms, the averag...

NUJS is a great college for someone who has interest in law.

Placements: NUJS has 100% placement record. The top law firms from all over the country like Luthra, Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB, etc., are among the recruiters who visit here. Even the foreign law firms like Allen and Ovary are among the recruiters. The average placement package on the day zero is from Rs. 11 Lacs to Rs. 13 Lacs.

The WBNUJS is one of the premier law schools in India. You have to qualify the CLAT to study in this

Placements: The WBNUJS has remarkably done well regarding placements. In a streak of 5 years 100% placements to the students to prestigious law firms. It is no.3 best law college in India. The college has a student body of recruitment. It works explicitly for the placements of the students.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are 100% from the last three years. NUJS is among the top law colleges in the country regarding placements. In 2015, all 106 students were offered jobs out of 106 who attended for placements, while in the year 2016, 78 out of 78 students secured the jobs in top-tier law firms, in-house counsels, banks, etc. The roles offered were litigation officer and associate. Almost everyone gets an internship in firms.

One of the best law schools in the country.

Placements: The senior batches have had a record of good placements, with the top 6 law firms in India. They pick the students from this university, the fourth year students sit for placements, and most of the previous batches have secured an average package of 12 LPA. The highest package offered to the students has gone up to 25 LPA. We have our alumni in most of the top law firms in India.

The college has recorded 98%-100% placements in the previous three years. The highest salary was offered by the foreign firms recruiting with a package of around INR 40-42 lakhs(per annum), and the highest offered by Indian firms was INR 18 lakhs(per annum). One of the best law college in India. Amazing infrastructure. The best in class and library. Awesome crowd life. Placements is above average. There are decent faculty. The mess food is probably the best, one can get in a hostel life. I would definitely recommend this to all the law aspirants. Go for it guys.

A very holistic experience - I grew a lot not merely as a professional but also as a person. Good bits - great faculty in first couple of years when we also had a good VC. Later the quality of teachers as well as the VC deteriorated. Bad bits - the hostels were super cramped.
