Location is A-1, Extracurricular activities too good. The quality of education so far is not good.

Placements: The placement cell is not that good in this college. There is no room for the students, who are just pursuing B.Com. The college fee is also high compared to other reputed colleges like St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. If you are attracted to better placement offers then well, this is not the right place for you.

The college requires furnishing.

Placements: The campus placements not provided. Not even opportunities for the internship are available. There is no scope for shaping one's future through college. The management needs to give the students opportunities by approaching students and select students via GD and PI.

Decent college for the locals, else wise it's a hassle as transportation is a complete challenge.

Placements: Only provides degree after great hassle, placement is a matter of laughter. As clearing the semesters in Calcutta university is relatively more difficult than other universities. You may be able to get a job in some nearby local company or any startup.

IISWBM, at a glance. The infrastructure, placements for the students. Faculty and their teaching.

Placements: As I am doing the evening courses, there is no placements assistance from the college. However, it should be there as they take in a lot of freshers at the time of admission. On the other hand, as I myself am a student from the evening batch, they didn't even provide me with an internship. Moreover, when I went with an internship opportunity, where they just had to give me a NOC, and they even denied that.

The best college in Kolkata with the best infrastructure.

Placements: Many companies come for placement, and besides those, many banks and audit firms also come for placement. I guess the average package is around 2.5 LPA. I have not opted for campus placement, but some of my friends have got their jobs through college placement cell. We must opt for it.

Gone are the golden days of past.

Placements: The college has the worst placement cell. Though they brought companies like TCS, ICICI Prudential, Indigo Airlines, the job profiles offered by them were not good at all. For B.Com students, they offered job profiles of ground staff, airport security, BPO, BPS, and selling policies. Not a single company offered a proper job profile and indeed, it is a failure of the placement cell to bring proper companies.

Dissatisfied with the placements and results. The college fest is great and the teaching is average.

Placements: The college provides the placement, but they won't give 100% placement policy, and you need to find your bread n butter. Some BPO and the accounting firms from Kolkata comes for the placements and conduct the personal interview. I can say that the placement structure is poor as compared to the other universities.

Don't choose this college if you want to learn and enjoy in your college life.

Placements: The college provided no placement opportunities, and there is not even a convincing image of the college among the recruiters. So, it's very difficult to prove that we are from a good college, even if we have the first division in results. The college authority doesn't take any initiative to provide jobs to the students.

It is highly overrated. They have no respect for students. It has the worst management.

Placements: We have pathetic placements. I remember one of my friends who was doing M.Com was called up for the job, where you have to move from one shop to another to promote the Airtel payments bank. You are wasting your time if you are looking up for the placement opportunities in this college. It is highly overrated. You may not ever get a job related to your domain. Unlucky to get an admission in this college which has a bad infrastructure and faculty etc.

Placements: I haven't heard about the placements as I am the first-year student. I just once saw a notice regarding the placement on the notice board, related to the placement company which delayed its arrival to the college. Still, I have heard from my seniors that there is a placement cell in the college.

Save IISWBM from becoming a tier-3 institute.

Placements: The placements are satisfactory with the average salary being between 5-5.5 lakhs per annum. The placement cell is very bad, and only the students in the committee try to work for the others. The faculty members are least bothered and a lot needs to improved, starting from making the students skilled.

Goenka College, a truly government college with no vision or mission.

Placements: No such placement cell exists in the college. Since it is primarily a UG college, few firms come for students. A bad college from the placement perspective. The last big placement came in 2009 when Exide selected 2 students for the internship. Overall, a bad place for such things.

Very minimal fee, government-owned college, affiliated with Calcutta University.

Placements: This college is affiliated to Calcutta University, but the placement of this college is really bad. Actually, only TCS comes at the time of the placement and the package that TCS offers is not worth it. But overall, this college does not have a good placement. So if you are looking for a Bachelor degree college for placement, then this college is not the place you want to study in.

The College is good for those who are doing other professional courses along with graduation. This is because of the fact that the college does not have attendance criteria and no regular exams are conducted. Hence, it makes it easier for the students to focus on the professional course that he/she is pursuing. However, the college does offer immense exposure and opportunity for extracurricular activities like fests and inter college competitions etc.

Although the college has the best faculty but campus is not good. It has huge fees structure for the students. Administration is very slow here. Maximum time student were frustrated. The union was not co-operative with the students. It’s totally bad for student’s future. I want to improve this kind of facility. Campus placements are not done here. Also the college environment is not good for students.
