Calcutta University Entrance Exam UG Courses Application Form , Registration: Know How to Apply

The application form Calcutta University admission releases separately course wise. The links once activated can be checked in the table below.

Last year, the application fee was not charged for BA LLB and LLM courses, however, the application fee is applicable for submitting the form in general. Therefore candidates must be careful and check the applicable fee for the course they are applying for or admission. The fee also differs course wise.

The following documents are t be scanned and uploaded in the Calcutta University UG and PG application form 2023. The documents are to be scanned as per the specifications below.

1. Candidate’s Passport size photo – Size Max. 50 Kb
2. Candidate’s Signature (In English) - Size Max. 30 Kb
3. Self-attested copy of qualifying exam mark sheet - Size Max 200 Kb
4. Self-attested copy of PWD Certificate (if applicable) – size maximum 200 kb
5. Self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B certificate from govt. of West Bengal only (if applicable) – size maximum 200 kb
6. Self-attested copy of police person Identity Card (if applicable) – size maximum 200 kb

Candidates can change or edit information in the application as long as the form is not submitted. Once the application is submitted candidate cannot change/edit or modify the information. Therefore candidates are advised to check the form carefully before final submission.

The steps to apply are as follows:

Step 1: Register

• Visit the Calcutta University websites: caluniv.ac.in/www.caluniv-ucsta.net.
• On the Home Page click on the “New Admission” button.
• For New Applicant click on the blue button indicating “New Applicant? Create a New Account”
• Gill the details that are asked in the next step.
• After filling up the form and clicking on the “Apply” button the candidate will receive all the credentials for login in their registered email id. Credential information are:

1. User Name (Your Application Number)
2. Password
3. OTP

Step 2: Login and OTP Verification

• Login with the application number and password.
• Enter the received OTP at the login page.
• After entering OTP the candidate will be taken to the main Application Form

Step 3: Fill the main application form and Upload Documents

• Fill the main application form correctly.
• Upload the scanned documents in proper sizes.
• . Before submitting, the candidate can preview the filled up application by Clicking on the “Preview” button.
• Submit the form by paying the application fee, if applicable.

Step 4: Print the application form

• Candidates shall take the printout of the admission form and keep it for future reference.
