Review of College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Aizawl, Mizoram.
Placements: There are many opportunities offered by our college. Every year many students go to Philippines for internship for 3 months. This opportunity is for those who are in top 10 of the class. All the financial facilities is carried by the government as this college is under Central Agricultural University.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is so good because few years ago all the buildings were repainted. There are 2 beautiful hostels for boys and 2 girls hostel. Also 1 PG boys hostel and 1 PG girls hostel are present. One canteen is there for the students and one shop where everything is available. Labs are so well because our microBiology lab is ranked in the list as best for studying microBiology for vet.
Faculty: Faculty:- Faculties are good and friendly. They all are highly educated because all the teachers are under central government. There is 1 advisory for every 6 students, and advisory means they help you like your parents. Curriculum:- Curriculum is good, in every class there is one big smart board, inverter, projector, cctv, and two whiteboard. Teacher teach us from the slides on the smartboard. They used to attach a picture of the topic in every slide, so that it easier for us to remember. Exam:- Bvsc and AH course is of 5.5 years. In every year 3 internal and one external (semester exam) exam happen. In these three exams, best of 2 exams are considered. Hospital:- one big veterinary hospital is also there.
Other: Our college has a Central Library where students can find any kind of book regarding studies. One xerox machine is also there in the Library. In every hostel there is facility of hot and cold water for bathing. Many events in our college happen every time, like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket. There is a big ground in the back of the hostel for playing football and cricket. Scholarship:- Many scholarship are there for the students like NSP, quota welfare, and VCI students get a huge amount of scholarship after admission.

Satisfied because of faculty and it also comes under Central government. Placement rate is medium.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed in a good company or got government jobs. The packages depend on the job, what type of job they got, Minimum is between 3.0 LPA package and 4.7LPA. I have no idea about the recruiting companies. My course offers all the various agriculture related subjects like agronomy, soil science and plant pathology, etc. 60% students got internships.
Infrastructure: Labs, classroom and Library all are good. Free Wi-Fi available is available all over the hostel. Grounds are available that helps in gaining the practical knowledge. There is a canteen available on the campus, Mess food is good. A Health center also available on the campus. Playground, Gymnasium, Football ground, Volleyball ground are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, they are very good. All teachers are well educated and friendly to the students. Digital classroom teaching is also available. Practicals are also done. Yes, this course's curriculum is relevant.  It can make the students industry-ready, but first of all, you need experience for that.

Many people will dislike this college because of lack of proper infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in our course ranged from 60% to 90%. The highest package was 90%, the lowest was 60%, and the average was 70%. The top roles offered were agriculture officer, agribusiness, agri farm, and horticulture officer.
Infrastructure: The college is in a remote area far from any developed towns or cities. The nearby villages are underdeveloped, which means that we face a wide range of problems, including network issues, lack of academic infrastructure, and poor living conditions. The college does not yet have a canteen for students, and the hostel food is only average.
Faculty: The teachers here are not very good at teaching, although a few are quite good. Most of the teachers take their jobs lightly. The semester exams are quite easy if you study properly. The college promotes practical learning by planting trees and plants to beautify the campus.

Our college is excellent, and I suggest you just choose it.
Placements: About 30-35 students got placed from our college. For one semester, the fee is Rs. 50,000 per month, and the highest fee for our course is Rs. 70,000 per semester. Roles are offered in food safety, floriculture, food processing, fruit department, etc. Top roles offered are horticulturist, floriculturist, breeder, etc.
Infrastructure: Two students are allotted per room in the hostel, and they are provided with a study table, bed and almirah. There are common washrooms for 12-15 students and a common dining hall for 30 students. Healthy nutritional food is provided in our college canteen. There are gym faculty members for separate hostels. There is a common library for all students. There are digital classrooms, and the lab facility is good with all the glassware and equipment. A common medical hospital is situated inside the college. There are a football ground, indoor stadium and separate indoor games for separate hostels.
Faculty: Teachers here are PhD scholars with quality teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, and the subjects are available in the online ICAR Ecourses portal. Semester exams are not difficult to pass because the teaching staff members are good. The syllabus of the course is very good, and interested students can fulfil their passion successfully. The pass percentage is 60%.

It is the best college, and I am fully satisfied with everything.
Placements: Around 70% of students are placed in this course. The highest salary package offered ranges from up to 3 LPA to 4 LPA, and the lowest salary offered varies from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. Mainly government jobs are better but there is a great option for food processing industries pharmaceutical industry cosmetic industries. There is a great scope for insect-based farming like apiculture, silviculture, lac culture, etc. Great scope in bank jobs like field officer supervisor, etc. Scientists and researchers are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities in the hostel with available free Wi-Fi, well-projected classrooms, and well-defined laboratories for every subject is provided, and also the library is good with 50 seats and well maintained and updated. It provides good food at affordable prices, and there are proper facilities for a medical emergency. For sports and games, there is a huge indoor stadium and a football ground, well hygienic canteen is also provided in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent in this college. Faculty members worth full of knowledge and are very helpful every time. This course is very curriculum relevant and there is a great scope in the processed food industries pharmaceutical industry, etc. Semester exams are moderate, but students can easily pass the exam.
Other: This course is very nature-friendly one who loves nature this course is for them. I opted for this course because I love to study plants. The course is at its best level so I don't think any improvisation is needed. Usually, every month is full of events like cultural events, sports, events, and much more. Surroundings are green and eco-friendly very close to nature. There are great scholarship schemes.

Central agricultural University tour .
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement for students. Some of the colleges that are under CAU provide placement. Our college provides an internship program for student, in which students are advised to complete their internship within 6 months of its duration.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college of food technology is not up to par. Here, the infrastructure of the college, girls hostel and boys hostel is totally the same. Recently, our college got accreditation for ICAR and they'll be building a new college soon.
Faculty: Faculty members are cooperative, kind and positive; the curriculum and exams of each semester are followed strictly. The college dean is so cooperative and kind. Each and every task is accomplished by following rules and regulations. All types of official work are done by the administrative block .
