The CUHCampus LifeOutside movement for girl students allows them to participate in various activities within restricted timings. There is no dress code, and students have access to multiple sports grounds and coaching facilities. The college has a moderately busy calendar with 1-3 monthly events, and the mess food is of acceptable quality and hygiene standards. Attendance policies are strictly enforced, but rule breakers are usually let off with a warning. The college culture is diverse and inclusive, with most students speaking English, and support staff available for all languages. Academically, the college follows a moderate schedule with regular exams and tests, and teaching methodologies focus on practical discussions and case studies. The college is well-equipped with resources, including a well-stocked library, and security measures include guards and CCTV cameras throughout the campus.

Reviewers have mentioned that the campus is well-maintained, with good quality facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, well-equipped labs and a library with a good number of books. Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech Programs at CUH

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of the placement cell at Central University of Haryana (CUH) for B.E./B.Tech programs:

    * Limited success: Most students reported that there were no placements through the university's placement cell in recent years.
    * Off-campus placements: Many students managed to secure placements through off-campus drives, although these opportunities varied depending on individual efforts.
    * New placement cell: CUH has recently established a new placement cell in Gurgaon, which aims to improve the placement record of the university.
    * Low response rate: Some students mentioned that companies rarely visit the campus for recruitments, resulting in limited placement options.
    * Average salary packages: While some students secured higher salary packages, others received modest offers ranging from INR3-INR5 Lacs per annum.

Overall, the placement cell at CUH seems to face challenges in securing on-campus placements for B.E./B.Tech students. However, students are advised to explore off-campus opportunities and leverage their skills to secure employment. The establishment of a new placement cell may potentially lead to improved outcomes in the coming years.

Tata, Infosys, Rizen, and Microsoft are the top recruiting companies. 40 percent of students got internships from my course and in very good companies like Exposes, Data Labs, etc.
Infrastructure: Very good lab facilities and infrastructure are available for my course/department. Wi-Fi has very good speed. Labs are very well connected with better networks. Classrooms are well maintained. The library has all types of books. Hostel facilities are very good with better food quality.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and well qualified. They teach perfectly. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it will definitely make the students industry-ready. Exams are not very tough. And the passing percentage is more than 90 percent.
Other: I am very fond of electrical engineering. Almost everything is the best. Now nothing I want to improve, but I will see in the future. We have a college fest called Spandan, and we celebrate festivals like Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi. The college surroundings are very good, with a clean and decent environment. We have good sports facilities, a music club, a dance club, etc.

    Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I think the college recently got admission from JEE. The placement records of the college is very good but the college is working on that. At least 40 students got placed in company like TCS, etc. And average salary is approximately 3.20 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is overall good. It has facilities for Wi-Fi in the hostel as well as on campus. AC classrooms, seminar halls, mini-auditoriums for various departments, etc. are there. There is a canteen in every hostel with mess facilities and the food is also good and hygienic.
Faculty: We have well-qualified teachers with a friendly nature. The course curriculum is as per the IIT curriculum. The levels of the exams are good. A minimum of 40 marks is required for a student to clear any exam out of 100, which is good. 75% attendance is mandatory and there are 5 marks for attendance as well.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the technical field. The clubs and societies are running but I think it's average. Various events are held during the year, such as Spanish, Advik, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs are well-equipped, classrooms are clean, and the library is pretty good, and the hostels are well-maintained. The food provided in the mess is really good. During the festivals, the food is very good. The food provided is awesome with a traditional touch. The hostel is near to the college. The canteen gives good food.
Faculty: The lectures are well-qualified and teach well qualified and knowledgeable, but the curriculum is outdated as of now. The semester exams are hard to pass. The pass percentage is 82%. The question paper is hard. But our teachers and pass all. They make ready for industry, and teaching quality is the best.

A university with full potential but in developing phase.
Placements: The placements in my college are average. The average package is around 3.1 LPA with TCS as major recruiter. The placements are totally dependent on skills and many students are now in good MNCs by off campus placements. The teachers provide various site link for internship as well as seniors are helpful in each case whether academic, non- academic, placements etc.
Infrastructure: B.Teach is a new course in Central University of Haryana which is started in 2016. This course is still in developing phase but in Next 10 years it will be in great condition from now and will provide good placements. The hostels are good with 3 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. There is shortage of hostel for boys and students with good academic grades are provided hostels.
Faculty: The faculty members are all well qualified and have done the Ph.D. from recognised institutes. The course is still in development phase but good for new computer Science field. The students are taught DSA, Computer Network as well as Machines Learning in their course.
Other: The university holds only two major fests each year - one cultural fest (Spandan) and second teach fest ( Advik) and no clubs are there for personality development. But still this university is in developing phase so there might in development in this area also.

Q:   Is B.Tech at Central University of Haryana better than BITS Bhiwani?

    A:

About Central University of Haryana -

In 2022, the highest package of 2023 passout batch was INR 22 LPA. The lowest one was INR 3.4 LPA in the TCS Ninja profile. The average package is around INR 4–5 LPA.

The environment is very homely with good facilities like Free WiFi, water purifiers, library and good internet rooms with PC's. Its fee structure is less as compared to the other universities and hence poor students get a chance to study with good resources and affordable fees.

    Speaking about BITS Bhiwani:

Very good placements are there in this college. Placements in Maruti, Honda, HCL, HMT, ABB, Robotic India, etc. Students belonging to other courses can provide better reviews for their own departments. The exposure it provides is unparalleled and it provides you immense opportunities in what ever areas/field you are passionate about.
