Placements: Currently I am in 1st year. I found that there is very less chances of placements in my university. Only a few students (6) of my branch got placed at a the highest package of 3.5lakh in TCS as a Assistant System Engineer - Trainee. I really hated this.
Placements: Here placements are average. Approximately 40 percent got placed this year. Average package offered is INR 5 lacs. Placement cell is quite good. They will teach you how to present yourself in front of the recruiters and also give you information regarding off campus or on campus placement even if you are a passout.
Placements: I am a student of 1st semester in CUK. I have reached out to my seniors regarding placements in campus, they said "Don't expect any placement from here". It will be your good luck if you get any low package from here around INR 3-4LPA. Currently this year, our 5-6 high scoring seniors got placed at a maximum package of INR 3.5LPA in TCS.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. Around 5-6 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 3.36 LPA by TCS. The top roles offered are assistant system engineer and trainee.
Placements: There are no placements. Students get placed through off-campus drives. The salary package offered is 3.36 LPA. TCS recruits B.Tech. graduates. Companies in the banking sector recruit MBA graduates. Students here have great skills.
Placements: There is a placement cell to offer placements. In the previous two years, there have been no placements. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA. Our VC is trying to get more placements, and the university is developing.
Placements: Due to covid, there are no placements for the last 2 years, and now, our new vice chancellor, Prof. Battu Satyanarayana is trying very hard to provide placements for the next batch. Our professors help students to get placements.
Placements: At present, there are no placements in the department of geography and geoinformatics because of COVID, but faculty members are trying hard. In the previous batch, students were placed well. Many got internships at ISRO and other top institutions.
Placements: Actually, our institution offers several placement opportunities for various disciplines. However, they do not give any placements for the M.Sc. Geology programme. They provide internships in many firms around India, and they assist us in working alongside numerous companies.
Placements: I do not say that CUK is better in terms of placements because it was established in 2009. It still needs to gain proper recognition, so not many companies visit our college now. The placement cell is underway, which will help in proper placements. Some companies like IBM, Wipro, and TCS visit our college sometimes for placements. Almost 60-70% of students get placed. Most of the students in CUK take off-campus placements due to the presence of ample opportunities outside the campus as well.
Placements: For the given department, few placements are available. Placement quality needs improvement. The department administrators are very helpful and provide help in job applications and personal guidance, which is very valuable for career prospects. Due to pandemic, the placements have decreased.
Placements: Placements are not available for this particular department and in the core domain. But once we had Federal Bank placements in which 2 students got placed. Azim Premji Foundation placements are also held every year. Assistance for internships is available.
Placements: No one got placed in our course because we need to do PhD first, then we get some scientist or professor job. The packages differ depending upon the position or post. Top recruiting companies, as per my knowledge, are ONGC, Coal India and AMD. Everyone gets an internship in our course. The top roles are mostly scientist and professor.
Placements: Students did not get placed just after post-graduation as we have to give exams like NET, GATE, SET, BARC, etc., to get either PhD or some job. The salary package offered may vary depending on the job you are in. Everyone student does an internship because it is a mandatory part of our curriculum. The top roles offered in our course, as per me, are scientist or professor.
Placements: We don't get placement in this course, not even in Bombay. For getting placed, we need to clear competitive exams, which is not easy. That's why many students opt for higher studies in India or abroad, such as Ph.D. or postdoc, and a few get research assistant jobs. Top recruiting companies are ONGC, CIL etc. We can even clear the UPSC geoscientist exam, which is specifically for geology students. The packages vary depending on your post.
Placements: We don't get placement in this course instead we give competitive exam to get secured job or we can do higher studies like Ph.D. and postdoc to become scientist and professor. Top recruiting companies are ongc, barc, cil and many more. All the students have to do internship.
Placements: The placements in our department are not provided. In any institute in India, you cannot get placements in geology. However, you can opt for PhD and get jobs by attending competitive exams. We get the lowest salary in a PhD, which is more than Rs. 30,000 per month, depending on your academics. We can get the highest salary of around 1.5 lacs per month. Top companies that recruit from here are ONGC, CIL, BARC, etc. About 100% of students get internships because it is a mandatory part of our curri...
Placements: In central university of Karnataka, 40% student get placed by their alumni. Some students got BARC, KSRSAC, INCOIS etc. Some students doing their Ph.D. Internships are compulsory so here all students got university and industry for their dissertation .
Placements: For geography, there is no placement. We have to get enrolled for PhD or give some competitive exams like GSI or other related to geography to get a secured job. In PhD through GATE exam, we get a salary of approximately Rs. 31,000 per month. If we get it through the net, then it is more than Rs. 37,000 with HRA per month. If we get enrolled through the institution on the basis of academics, then we get less salary. Almost everyone gets internships in different institutions. Top roles that we ge...
