M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2024
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best University for M.Sc. In Chemistry Course.
Placements: The college has a good reputation with employers, and more than 80% of students are placed each year. The highest package available is 21 LPA, and the typical package size is 14 LPA. 79% of students receive job prospects. Some of the top recruiters include SGS India, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas. My course offers careers such as Quality Control Analyst and Formulation Chemist.
Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure for courses. The classrooms are equipped with mixed technology, and there are large computer labs with software licenses. The two-story library has some good books but is lacking in textbooks. The hostel is well located inside the campus, but only the two top students in each batch can stay there. The food is good, but the menu is pretty much the same every week.
Faculty: All of the professors are PhDs with extensive knowledge in their subjects. The teaching methods are very different from other universities I've attended. The curriculum is solid and prepares students for careers, but there is still room for improvement. The courses are challenging but not overly difficult. The pass rate is over 70%.

M.A. in History - Batch of 2024

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best University for M.A. in History Course.
Placements: Our college, particularly our M.A. in History degree, provides numerous chances for students. Approximately 70% of students are placed at very high salaries in well-known companies such as The Times of India, IBM, and Google. The largest compensation package offered to date is 37 LPA. The lowest wage offered is 7 LPA. Top positions include researcher, content writer, and so on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was adequate for the history course. The college provided adequate laboratory facilities for students to gain practical experience. The pupils were given access to all required amenities, including a canteen, Wi-Fi, library, hostel, sports, and medical care. All of these facilities were of high quality at CU Punjab.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified, attended frequent classes, and were helpful in all areas of academics. Our course contained the most recent syllabus and had no unnecessary material to cover. It was crisp and clear, and it followed the syllabus for competitive tests. Semester examinations are relatively difficult, which is beneficial for us. The pass rate is 55%.

Great opportunity and support.
Placements: The top recruiters who pay the highest package are generally private companies that own gyms and other types of training centers. The highest package was offered for 3 lacs per annum. Mostly 70% of the students get placed; the maximum placement happens in elementary school.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good; we have gyms where we practice, and other than that, we have yoga rooms. There are a few programs wherein industry trainers come, and we also visit through college. The hostel is very good, clean, and hygienic, and food is provided in the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are very resourceful; they have enriched our experience and knowledge and share it with us, trying to inculcate that passion in us through their interactive way of teaching. Generally, the passing rate has been above 80%, and the semester pattern is followed.

It's a developing college, has good infrastructure, but there are not many fests.
Placements: As undergraduate courses have been newly introduced in the Central University of Punjab, the B.Tech 2024 batch is the first batch for their college. There are no credible sources of past placements, but students are assured by the responsible authorities of a safe future and good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure sector are very well covered in the Central University of Punjab. The campus and hostels have good Wi-Fi coverage. The classes and labs have all the required technology available, including items like 3D printers. The food in the mess is fine.
Faculty: All of the teachers are very well-qualified and come from good colleges. They are also very helpful to every individual. The teachers are kind and polite in nature. The course curriculum is related and prepares the students for different kinds of situations. The semester exams are not very difficult but also not very easy. The pass percentage is 40%.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

3Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
It is a new developing college, as many buildings are under construction.
Placements: This is a newly introduced course, but placements are promised from reputable companies. This course is new in the college, and the placements will be this year. Moreover, companies like Google and Amazon have guaranteed to come to the college in the upcoming years. Many M.Tech students were placed last year.
Infrastructure: There are sufficient labs and classrooms where classes are conducted using the best technologies. Moreover, every classroom and lab has projectors, smart boards, and whiteboards for better role-play. The quality of food in the mess is average, but the canteen outside the academic block, named Suraj Bhaiya’s canteen, has the best snacks in the area. There are many cafeterias outside the campus and 2-3 stalls of Amul, Verka, and Nescafe.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have a very kind and polite nature. They are well-experienced teachers, post-graduated from IITs. The teaching quality is the best, as there are tests conducted every week and monthly. The semester exams are not so tough; they are of a moderate level, and the best course for engineers is Computer Science and Technology.

2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Satisfied with the faculty, placements not good.
Placements: Professors are highly skilled and well-educated in their domains and provide a good opportunity for research and field knowledge. The placement cell is not that much established in this university, but the research field is above average, and chances of getting your paper published are also possible in most cases.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the hostel facilities are very average. The rooms are shared between four people of different departments. The washroom facilities are also decent; workers clean them at least once every day. Food in the mess is like your regular home-cooked food, but the canteens are not available here near the hostel. You have to walk a lot to get basic groceries also.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful also, but the exam curriculum is more like that we had in schools. Regular surprise tests, assignments, mid-term exams, and end-term exams. Even moral exams are a part of the curriculum here. Access to reading and books is good.
Other: Fests are less, but you'll find diversity in the crowd here.
