CUCET Chandigarh University 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring for admission to Chandigarh University are required to fulfil all the eligibility conditions before filling CUCET application form. The prescribed eligibility for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses are as follows:
Eligibility for UG courses:
- Candidates must have secured 50 per cent or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).

CUCET 2025 Scholarships
CU has allocated INR 170 crore for the academic year 2023-24. Upto 100% scholarships will be offered for students to study futuristic courses of their choice at North India’s central educational hub. The amount of scholarship is determined based on merit. The merit list is prepared on the varsity basis of marks scored by candidates in CUCET (60% weightage) as well as the graduation/ Class XII (40% weightage) exam. Q: Does Chandigarh University offer scholarships to CUCET qualified students?
Yes. Chandigarh University has allocated INR 170 crore to provide scholarships for the academic year 2025-26. The amount of scholarship will be based on the merit. The authorities will prepare the merit based on the score secured in CUCET (60% weightage) and 12th standard (40% weightage). From 10% upto 100% scholarships will be provided to eligible candidates who have qualified and secured a valid CUCET score.
Q: Will different scholarships be given to CUCET qualified candidates of different phases?
Yes. The authorities will provide different scholarships to CUCET qualified candidates of different phases i.e., Phase 1 and 2. For every marks range, the percentage of scholarship will be different. Candidates are advised to check the details regarding the scholarships carefully. If they are eligible for the scholarship, the candidates can contact the authorities to know more details. According to the official website, the number of scholarships offered in each stream is subject to a maximum of 10% of total seats offered by the university in that stream (between streams the scholarship distribution may vary).

Conditions for Continuation of CUET Scholarships
To maintain the CUET scholarships, the students should meet the listed criteria.
- Students should maintain a minimum of CGPA 7.5 in their regular semester exams in their first attempt.
- Should not have any grades of E, F, I or Not Qualified.
- No semester/year drops are allowed for Pharma D. Programme.
If the students fail to meet the requirements, the scholarship will be discontinued. Reapplication in the next academic year will be allowed if they meet the criteria, however, only 50% of the initially sanctioned scholarship will be provided. It is to be noted that the students will not be able to swap scholarship schemes in the upcoming years and multiple scholarships cannot be availed simultaneously.
