Placements: The number of companies coming for placements is over 25. The packages range from 17 lakhs per annum to around 2 lakhs per annum. Companies like DE Shaw, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, State Street, etc., came and there are a few more that will be coming until January or February. Last year the placement record was 90% which is quite good, but the management does not let you sit for any more companies if you have been selected by 1.
Placements: As of now, i.e., 9th December 2017, few companies came for placements. For computer science/IT/EEE/EC, 2 companies, Epsilon and Himachal Pradesh Infotech came to the college. Apart from this, one more company is lined up, i.e., Wizcraft. The package for computer science/IT/EEE/EC by Himachal Pradesh Infotech is 2.4 - 3 LPA with first 8 months of training, after that, 5-8 LPA depends upon your capability. The night shift will fetch additional pay of 25K PA+TA+DA+ other perks. The package offered ...
Placements: The placements are going really well. But the job profile is monotonous, and for graduates, it is quite well compared to other colleges. The freshers tend to struggle with the initial period, but growth in future is great. Companies offer the roles of HR, finance, marketing, technical, sales, etc. all sort of hiring is done in the campus placements. The packages offered are also okay, i.e., good by some companies offering more than 4 LPA and bad offers such as 2.5 LPA. A few professors help us i...
Placements: Placement for my batch was poor in the core sector. IT firms like Tech Mahindra was the first to hire. Companies like Epsilon, Byju's, Unisys, Decathlon, Cuemath were the major recruiters. FESTO was the main recruiter for the mechanical branch. Salary offered ranged from 2.5lpa to 4lpa.
Placements: Placements were not that great at CUFE and the students from my batch are still struggling for jobs. That being said, this college started in 2008 and thus is a growing college. It is improving on all aspects every year. I hope this college pays attention to their placement cell and works for the better.
Placements: We are CS students but in our college, only a few companies are coming and they are marketing companies. They hire student who speaks good English. Placements of our college are not up to the mark as only 4-5 companies visited our college. If you think that you are good in technology, do not take admission in this college.
Placements: Approximately 78% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 4 to 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Google, etc. 100% of students get internships it is a compulsory thing for everyone to do it in the summer vacation of 2nd years and there should work 6 days in a week which is mandatory.
Placements: Most of my colleagues were placed in well-reputed organizations. Having an international degree aided their skills and chances. Since the 'German batch' (as we were referred) was supposed to start the exchange semester from March (in Germany), we were required to do a winter internship. It was for the most part left to us to discover an organization to intern. The college couldn't help us in this regard.
The campus is beautiful, 25 kms away from the city with a lush green environment. They have facilities such as finance, los labs. The course also has a compulsory internship requirement. Various exams and submissions are there during this 2 year period. The course gets a little hectic over a period as there are too many requirements to be filled. The college code is very strict and rules are follwed. The college also has a compulsory dresscode for boys and girls and wearing your id card is a mus...
The college is nice and has a good infrastructure and provides excellent opportunities to the students. The college is pretty strict for its rules and regulation. It will be a different experience for anybody who joins this college. The college life not so happening like other institutes because Christ has a different attitude towards its students and going against the rules is highly intolerant and sometimes there is strict punishment for the same.
It has a wonderful campus and tons of opportunities to grow. I am a computer science student. I wouldn't say the department is way too wonderful but yes it is very enthusiastic. We get to attend a lot of fests through the year. There are tons of extra curricular activities in and around the campus. The lush green campus can make one feel fresh every morning. The library is enormous and if one wants he or she can be become a scholar on their own as well.
Christ University is popular for BCA, BBA, and LAW etc. All these courses are held at Koramangala (Main campus). B. Tech at Christ University (Christ University Faculty of Engineering) started in the year of 2009. "NOT ESTABLISHED". Campus recruitments are very few, it’s around 5%. MBA courses are good and placements are also pretty good. Engineering Department has a separate campus far from Bangalore city. There is not a single thing good about the college for B. Tech people. Infrastructure wis...
It is a beautiful college with lush greenery, well-known for its professional atmosphere and well learned faculty. Mixture of students from all around India brings out the cultural aspect of studying in Christ University. Pros are placements, hostel facility, library and great campus infrastructure. Cons can be the fact that Ken Geri and Main Campus are not at par. Ken Geri campus is more situated on the outskirts and this results in problems either travelling to or from city. Either for interns...
The college is extremely spacious with 75 acres of lush greenery for a holistic environment for our PG studies. Even the subjects offered are up to date and mostly focused on current scenarios. The faculty are cooperative and extremely qualified. The facilities offered in the classrooms is a little bit outdated since no smart boards or white boards are introduced, but Wi-Fi facility is readily available too. Hostel and campus has excellent facilities of 24 *7 hot water, TV on each floor etc. gym...
I have mixed reviews for this college. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous; the curriculum is only average. Whatever you study in class is something that you can study on your own as well. However, the college has a decent faculty and a good library which might make up for the curriculum issue. The college has good events and lets students explore themselves. It pushes them to try their hand at everything.
Faculty needs to be more student friendly and courses need to be flexible. English department is extremely resourceful. Psychology department needs to have more permanent staff with rather than research scholars teaching. CEP students need to be offered media specialization as that is the sole reason of having chosen the course. Students need to be encouraged to do more than just two internships during college period.
The college is not bad, but the management is not at all motivating. Major subjects which are essential, are not even taught here, forget to have a teacher in class. This place is full of students living in fear of getting chucked out of college for some reason or the other. They don't encourage students for anything, moot courts, socializing, nothing.
The college has good course structure and efficient faculty. When I joined the college, the student strength was normal. But from the next batches, the student strength increased significantly. The quality of teaching and course reduced like wise. Considering the volume of students, campus placements is poor. Though this college does not fall under tier 2 or even the below level. Companies do not consider this college are reputed college for MBA. The salaries cannot be remotely comparable to pla...
