School of Engineering provides high-quality education in major engineering.

Placements: Around 100% of placements are ensured by safety and fire department. If a student has no active backlogs, they will surely be placed. Top companies are GAIL (Gas Authority India Limited), CAIRN, Alstom, L&T, Reliance, Tata, Indian Oil, ONGC, etc. The average salary package offered is around 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA.

CUSAT is among Kerala's best, with great campus life and academics.

Faculty: Teachers are really good. They are very supportive during the placement drive and in project and seminar presentations. Teachers are also supportive in giving previous questions for all students, especially for the students who are writing supplementary exams. Most of the professors here right now are experienced in many industries, so they give us practical ideas about what we are studying. And the professors here have many connections with people in those industries. So it is easier for us stu...

Only for placements, this college is good; for other facilities and infrastructure, it's very bad.

Faculty: The teaching staff are well-experienced, with more than 20 years of teaching experience. The staff are very friendly and interactive. The curriculum is not that great since here the semester duration is very short and a lot of portions are left.

Average college for M.Sc. in Oceanography course.

Faculty: Although we rely on YouTube courses and an AI model for the majority of our tasks, the instructor members are excellent. Although the semesters are challenging, the instruction is of high quality. You can succeed if you dedicate at least an hour each day to studying.

Overall, it is a good college for an MBA in India.

Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful and always available to meet our needs. They are specialists with extensive training who are committed to providing high-quality instruction. Many of them are PhD holders and others have advanced degrees from prestigious universities. In terms of its comprehensiveness and relevancy, I would like to give the course curriculum a good rating. Students put a lot of effort into getting good results on the challenging semester exams. The pass percentage is 85%, meani...

Nice college with pleasant vibe.

Faculty: Teachers are very nice; the majority of them are youngsters with a friendly vibe. The college atmosphere is very cool and chill, but the exams are very tough. If you have a chance to get admission in another university, then go and take admission in that university; don't get trapped in KTU.

Pros and cons of CUSAT university.

Faculty: Moderate teaching, but at times they backstab. Most of them know the subject but don't know how to teach well. Some are not even qualified for teaching. The curriculum is a bit old-fashioned. Semester exams are tough but can be passed by studying before exams.

Positive side of joining CUSAT.

Faculty: B.Tech in CUSAT has 4 years, each year has 8 semesters. Each semester has 6 theory papers and 2 labs. Theory papers are of 3 credits and labs have 1. Teachers here are good. They teach well and do have good connect with students. The curriculum followed here is industry relevant including internships and practical training.

I am not completely dissatisfied with this college. It has its own vibe.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are very supportive. But they lack industry exposure. They give theoretical knowledge. We have to develop practical knowledge. Students need to put extra effort into their skills. Semesters are not that tough. They can be passed easily and scored well with a bit more effort.

Only known for placements.

Faculty: Regular exams are conducted, and the faculty are college-level. For semester exams, you either get plenty of holidays or very few, and most of the fees are remitted soon after the exams are over. Teaching quality is also okay, but most of the time when classes are low, portions are still pending.

The infrastructure and lab facility is also good.

Faculty: The faculty members to student ratio is 15:1. The faculty members are approachable, but we have to build the interactive relationship with the professors ourself. Each faculty member is good at teaching their subject and providing knowledge. There are three internals (20+20+20) and the best two of the three count. After that, there is an end-semester exam of 60 marks each semester. We have to complete at least one internship to be eligible for placement programs.

CUSAT SOE: college of dreams.

Faculty: The faculty members are great, but we depend on YouTube classes and an AI model for most of our assignments. The teaching quality is good, but the semesters are pretty tough. If you spend at least an hour a day focusing on your studies, you can make it through.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good. They are all reputed ones with years of experience. Semester exams are going in a very systematic and transparent manner. The pass percentage is above 98%. Teachers do support students whenever required. Evaluation and result publication is in a very speedy way.

Choose CUSAT because it's a good option and you are going to get a great exposure.

Faculty: CUSAT is a Tier 1 college. The teachers here are very nice and experienced, although not all of them. As you know, if there's a good teacher, there's bound to be a bad one as well, but the majority of the teachers here are good. The curriculum is wide-ranging and very helpful. It will help us become a good engineer after the course.
