Satisfied as I only came for studies.

Placements: The placements are quite well. Most startups are coming with CTC of 5-7 lakhs per annum which is quite good for the freshers. This college is approaching various big companies like Berger Paints, HDFC Bank, Karvy Stock Broking, Bajaj Electricals, Axis Bank, etc.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements are good as a whole because there are many opportunities for the students to get placed in well-reputed companies that visit the campus. Good salary package is provided to them. Training classes for the placements are conducted in the college itself to prepare students to crack group discussions and personal interviews.

Not so good facilities or infrastructure but totally satisfied with the professors

Placements: Till now, B.A. Hons in journalism has no placement from the college. The students are placed on their own. Seniors have given their CV to the CDC department, but till now, no response came. Good placements for postgraduate students but less number of placements for undergraduate students.

I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: Doon business school is well known for the placements, as many companies visit the campus every year. The records in placements are 100%. The average salary offered to the students was about 6 lakhs. This college gives equal weight for all the courses. Moreover, internship percentage is almost 100%, and more focus provided to students by the the faculty to crack GD and personal interview. There are many mock GD sessions and interviews taken by the placement cell to prepare well for placements to...

Good but not an excellent college. The faculty is excellent and infra is okay.

Placements: The placements are good but not excellent. Average companies are coming to the college and the college management allows us to sit in pool campus, and they provide information regarding it. The college allows us to sit until we get an offer letter from two companies, whether it is a top company or a small company.

Placements: This is one of the good management colleges in this region and economical also. The college gives ample opportunities to be selected in desired companies possibly. Campus placements give multiple opportunities to start the career in the corporate world. Internships are provided to almost all.

MBA review of Doon Business School.

Placements: Placements are average. The students can groom themselves better than wasting time in placement tension. The college provides a platform for their students to learn, to explore the ideas, and to experience something new. The placements cell does not play any vital role because if you've already explored things, then companies will come to you by themselves.

Overall satisfaction because of faculty, some extra certification like SAP, Six Sigma course, French

Placements: The college gives placements to 80% of the students but the package might not be that high. The companies which visit are not a brand but a normal one. Internship companies come very less and students do not get according to their interest. The senior batch placement was not so good as they left their job after joining only because their experience was not good there.

Good placements, good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: Placements are good. There are some good companies which come to the campus and even startups come to recruit who wants to join the new and growing hype of e-commerce. A CDC department is there who helps to grow and helps to target the right company which is your dream working place.

Better education in a better environment

Placements: Placements are a big issue for any educational institution and it has a great impact on the matter of the student's attraction towards the college. We are fortunate in that case, The career development cell (CDC) trains students with the help of a world-class management trainer and makes students able to perform in any corporate field. Many reputed organisations from various sector pick students every year from our campus.

Life at Doon Business School, Dehradun

Placements: The placement of our college is average. I had a talk with our seniors and they said, according to their experience in the college, that the college is giving an average package to the students. The PGDM course is very good. They provide many facilities to their PGDM students and more preference than MBA students of the college. So, for placement, I would like to say that if you want to get placed with a good package with Doon Business School, you have to select the PGDM course to study. The M...

A business school on the rise.

Placements: Placement for the batch of MBA 2015-17 was average, and better offers were offered mostly to the marketing major students. Same was the case for our senior batches. Marketing is a strong point for Doon Business School. Around 70% students got placed with an average of 2-3 offers. The highest package was 5.2 L CTC from Berger Paints. The average CTC from other companies was quite low, hovering around 2-3 lpa. There were also a few companies offering a sub-par 10k a month. Most of these companies ...

Valuable review on DBS about placements, infrastructure, faculty, facilities, etc.

Placements: The placement has been incredible for the past 5-6 years. About 85-90%. The highest package is 22 LPA and the average package is 3.6-4.5 LPA. Last year (2016), the highest package was 9 LPA. Reputed MNCs visit the campus for interviews like TCS, ITC, ICICI, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, HCL, Patanjali, Ceasefire, etc. The internship was 90% last year (2016) with the average stipend being 8,000 per month.
